McHenry Township Asserts Second Amendment Stance — 15 Comments

  1. It does nothing except express an opinion.

Townships, unlike municipal or county governments, don’t do policing.

  2. It would be unconstitutional so it is nothing more than an expression of the same idiocy that wants to deprive seniors of their bus rides.

At least now seniors can get a gun and shoot the board members who took away their bus rides.

  3. Finally a township board that isn’t a bunch of wimpy simperers, scrambling to get their kids township jobs and themselves fat pensions.

Correcting is wrong, it sends a message to the RINO infested County Board and the Jackal to do something to protect citizens.

I saw the meeting on livestream, the township supervisor tried to cut it it but Verr, Andersen and Rakestraw stood tall.

That Township Clerk is a real moron.

When will me township (Alg.) do a damn thing?!

  4. This is so absurd.

McHenry Township has ZERO jurisdiction or role in enforcing gun laws.

    It is meaningless symbolism.

  5. Of course Alabama doesn’t want law-abiding folks to have firearms.

But every section 8 gangbanger can have one.

Why do the libtards wants us disarmed?

More Bernie, patsy Buttgeig, Bloomberg drivel.

  6. **Of course Alabama doesn’t want law-abiding folks to have firearms.**

You do know that McHenry Township did absolutely nothing to impact anyone’s right to have a firearm, right?

  7. Actually, Alabama, you’re dead wrong.

That enactment can be used, along with the Illinois and US Constitutions as a defense to any charges when your rump State House & crooked morbidly obese puppet Governor of Madiganistan try their communist tricks in McHenry Township.

  8. LOL – Please do elaborate. How exactly does a McHenry Township sanctuary resolution help you in court?

    Specifics please.

  9. “Correcting is wrong, it sends a message to the RINO infested County Board and the Jackal to do something to protect citizens.”

I’ll admit I’m wrong and you’re right when the county board takes action. I’ve taken part in advocacy of “symbolic” measures voted on by local government boards and by voters and realized the state isn’t interested in listening.

How many signatures do you have for Chuck Wheeler’s petition by the way?

  10. They did the right thing because the County loafers wouldn’t!

  11. Where’s the other townships??

    Asleep at the switch.

That’s another reason why townships are basically useless.

If you want a Cush job, get hired by a township Road Commissioner!
