Wonder Lake Man Arrested for Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse

Jamie Caldwell, 32, of Wonder Lake, was arrested Monday, February 24, 2020 and charged with two counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse and count of Domestic Battery.

On Monday, February 17, 2020 a concerned family member made a report with the Sheriff’s Office.

An investigation was initiated by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division which revealed Caldwell had sexually abused a family member under the age of 13 years old.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Caldwell and on Monday, February 24, Caldwell was subsequently arrested by McCullum Lake Police Department during a traffic stop.

  Bond: $40,000. Next Court Date: March 12, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.

The charges against this individual are merely allegations against him. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
