WARRENVILLE, Ill. — Jerry Evans, candidate for the 14th Congressional District, is announcing his pro-life legislative agenda.
Evans announcement is a direct response and rebuke of Rep. Underwood’s vote against the Motion to Recommit for H.R. 2339 earlier today, which would grant life saving measures to born-alive abortion survivors.
Evans released the following statement:
“Representative Underwood’s vote against protecting born-alive abortion survivors is a disgusting participation in infanticide. Voters in the 14th District will not forget this vote in November.
“I’m proud to announce my pro-life agenda and take a firm stance against infanticide. Standing up for life has been my priority since day one of my campaign, which is why I’m once again presenting a transparent legislative agenda.”

Jerry Evans – Defend the Unborn by Ending Abortion
“As a man of God, I believe that life begins at conception and every life is absolutely precious. An unborn child is a person and I will fight to protect its right to life. With deep sincerity and care for mothers, fathers, and unborn children, I will fight to end taxpayer funding for abortion. Everyday in Congress, I would fight to protect life at the legislative level with the goal of stopping this infanticide entirely.”

End Taxpayer Funded Abortion: Under no circumstance should taxpayers be forced to pay for abortions. Similar to H.R. 217 (2018), I’d move forward with legislation that mandates federal family planning grants go to non-abortion women’s health clinics in every case. I encourage federal support for women’s health, which is why my legislation would reallocate funds away from abortion clinics like Planned Parenthood.
Allow Healthcare Providers to Make Ethical Decisions: Pro-Life healthcare providers should not be penalized for denying abortive services. In order to protect the conscience of healthcare providers, I’d reintroduce The Conscience Protection Act of 2017 (H.R. 644). Healthcare providers ought to have the ability to work within their conscience.
Ensure Protection for Born-Alive Survivors: Any child who is born-alive during an abortion procedure must be granted life. I would move forward with sponsoring legislation similar to S.311, which is currently stalled in the Senate. My legislation, in accordance with S.311, would mandate that all healthcare practitioners immediately transport a born-alive baby to a hospital to preserve the child’s life. I’d also go one step further by completely eliminating late term abortion on the Congressional level. It is important that both pieces of legislation work together in tandem to ultimately pass a heartbeat bill, which I would strongly support.
Support Young Mother’s and Single Parents: Young women and single families need support in our society. I would support several measures to aid these demographics. In specific, increasing the child tax credit, raising awareness through community support initiatives, and providing hospital care for single woman under the age of 27. I’d support these measures as an effective way to reduce the number of abortions each year.
Philosophy of Compassion: Defending the unborn must start with a compassionate approach. We need leaders who address pro-life issues from a compassionate and sympathetic perspective, while maintaining the fact that life does begin at conception and it must be protected. In Congress, I promise to always evaluate pro-life issues with compassion and care for all parties involved.

I believe those who believe abortion is ok… are the same who believe the strange act of 2 men having sex is ok. They both prevent life. One murders… the other prevents.
They both advocate immoral societal influences that further drag nations into aimless destruction.
Where God is rejected… there is no moral foundations, no righteous and holy direction… which in turn creates the most destructive environment for any nation.

You’re going to run your own son into hell on Earth by lying to him. Maybe your priest was right in the joke that offended you so greatly.
Still, you can’t get the introspection that you are looking for simply from a priest.
Did your mother take you from your father when she fled to America, the country you seem to hate so much with the “Republikkklan values”?
Your perspective about right and wrong might be very different if you’d had a parent that was an actual example of what’s right.
I’m not suggesting that you aren’t welcome.
I’m simply not sure where you get so much hate and anger from and hope that perhaps there is some way that you can let go of it to be a real example of a man for your son.
