Want Free Health Insurance?

Jack Franks sits right between the two Democrats he “appointed” to the LITH Sanitary District Board, Eric Hansen and Kyle Kane. Hansen tripled his financial benefit after his appointment.

If you live in the Lake in the Hills Sanitary District, Jack Franks could nominate you as a Trustee.

That would allow you to get $6,000 a year in pay or free health insurance, as his appointee Eric Hansen did a little over a year ago.

Taking that option pretty much tripled his take-home benefit of this very part-time job from the taxpayers.

Now, it’s appointment time again.

The McHenry County Board is accepting applications from individuals interested in appointment to the Lake in the Hilss Sanitary District.  One position will be available on May 1, 2020 with a term to expire May 1, 2023.  Printable and online application forms are available below. Completed applications should be returned to the McHenry County Board Office and will be accepted until the positions is filled. If mailing your application, certified or registered mail is recommended. Mailed applications should be sent to the following address: McHenry County Board, 2200 North Seminary Avenue, Woodstock, IL  60098.

Of course, the County Board committee that does the interviews could ask each candidate whether he or she would take $18,000 from the taxpayers over the three year term or over $60,000 and reject those who would cost the taxpayers the most.
