IL-14: Ted Gradel Backer Adds Sue Rezin to Jim Oberweis Hit List — 8 Comments

  1. Sorry Lauf and Marter and Evans.

This is a three way race and what these candidates are doing prove it.

The data and information the campaigns have clearly point to and Oberweis, Gradel, Rezein horse race.

It will be very interesting to see who finishes first.

  2. Good points—good visual with the “Good Fellas” connotation.

Moo Man and Tax Lady dont look so good in this, backed up with the reasons why.

Moo Man may be out or could fall out of top 3 for sure after todays Campaign Finance revelations, leaving the race down to Tax Lady, Ms Lauf and maybe Gradel.

Things will get interesting from here.

  3. Hey Cal, Just so you know if your intent was to black out the address it did not work.

    I can still read it

You don’t need to approve this message for posting just wanted to give you a heads up

  4. FLamont, I’m not so sure Ted Gradel is in the horse race.

While Gradel and this ally of his have been sending lots of mailers, including attack mailers, I’ve not seen any evidence, namely Jim Oberweis or Sue Rezin, going after Gradel, most likely due to polling that says Gradel’s traction, if any, is negligible.

Instead, Gradel has stayed away from joint appearances, like the Northwest Herald editorial board interview two weeks ago and the Huntley debate this past Monday.

Also, since Rezin filed an Ethics Complaint against Oberweis for filing his Financial Disclosure statement over three months late, the same could have been done to Gradel, since he was three months late last year with the same filing, too.

Granted, a late report, even as late as that one was, is usually a nominal fine, but it could have been filed, and it wasn’t.

Mr. Bob Wire, not sure the bullet points are going to help Gradel, or even hurt Rezin that much.

The first two bullets on the Rezin hit list are for the same event (June 2, 2019 capital bill vote).

At least this time, these people state “Opposed Donald Trump for President” instead of saying “Opposed President Trump” under Oberweis.

Will give them a H/T for being a little more honest.

Obviously, both Gradel and the Gradel ally are trying to make hay over the fact both Oberweis and Rezin supported different Floridian candidates in the 2016 presidential primaries by telling half-truths, and being purposely vague.

Oberweis backed Marco Rubio and Rezin backed Jeb Bush, the latter, the Gradel campaign website has highlighted twice.

Haven’t done the deep dive yet on the “most trusted advisor” backing Rezin over the years, but if it’s as flimsy and trumped up as the Oberweis charge made last week, that’s nothing.

Remember, Oberweis received a one-time $200 check after winning the Republican primary for the open state senate seat in 2012 and that’s how Gradel & Co. say Madigan is backing Oberweis.

And any business that gives to Madigan is considered one of “Madigan Allies”, starting with ComEd/Exelon.

I’m sure Caterpiller and other Illinois based businesses are considered that too.

Oh well, given Catalina Lauf’s now confirmed surge, at least in fundraising since the first of the year, I wouldn’t be surprised if Lauf beats Gradel.

Whether Lauf can compete with Oberweis and Rezin remains to be seen.

  5. We were wondering if Gradel would turn his wrath towards Rezin or solely focus on attacking Oberweis.

Good move to go after Rezin too.

I’m also glad it’s not another sports photoshop — those got stale a while ago.

  6. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

–money to burn on little bonfires of the vanities.

Wait until we have real parties and politics.

Tauler knows what I’m talkin’ about!

He’s part of the Soros Antifa locals.
