  1. I consider this politician unethical, because he willingly disregarded evidence refuting his unsubstantiated claims of Woodstock
TIF being beneficial rather than harmful to most Woodstock taxpayers.

In promoting his Woodstock TIF, He was so cavalier to assume (andhe was right) that voters were confused and misled about actual economic facts of TIF, so that he needn’t present evidence that TIF was good and not harmful. He just claimedthat it was good and allowed people who trust him to be duped.

Whether his ignorance of facts about TIF was genuine or willfully maintained in service of his goals of personal benefit at the expense of most Woodstock taxpayers is irrelevant: he used leadership position to benefit a selected few at the expense of the community at large.

These first hand encounters support my conclusion that this politician is willfully dishonest in pursuit ofpersonal rewards, and wilfully disregards the wellbeing of taxpayers in pursuit of rewards for himself and a narrow group of insiders he chooses to reward, by virtue of powergranted him by holding political office.

  2. This guy and his city council were wrong. Recklessly wrong in the bag tax. That tax encourages shoppers to bring their so-called reusable bags to stores when they purchase items. Who the H knows what kinds of bacteria are on some or many of these bags kept in homes/houses. Some people are filthy and have poor housekeeping, thus their dirt and bacteria are transported from their houses and to stores to possibly infect other shoppers. These infected bags are put in shopping carts and then on the checkout counter. These bags might be put on the counters of big box stores, or God forbid, on the counters of food stores.

“Reusable Grocery Bags May Also Carry Dangerous Bacteria

A researcher at Loma Linda University Health found that almost all reusable grocery bags carry bacteria in them.
    Dr. Mark Reeves

Dr. Mark Reeves (Host), Surgical Oncologist: In a world where we’re conscious about recycling or reusing for the health of our environment, there are some factors to take into consideration for your own health while still being environmentally conscious.

Patricia Kelikani (Host), Health Journalist: That’s right. Take reusable grocery bags…they’re great for the environment, but have you ever considered you may be carrying more than just your groceries in that bag?

REEVES: A researcher at Loma Linda University Health found that almost all reusable grocery bags carry bacteria in them.

KELIKANI: And 10 percent of the reusable bags he collected from shoppers contained E. Coli, a fecal bacteria that can make us sick.”

  3. Is Sager prancing around in the photograph looking like an older version of Ed Grimly?

  4. His Sager Agenda is comical.

He has zero chance of winning anything, other that best orange tan.

Remember, he is the Bag Tax mayor.

  5. The real question is who will grab a Democratic ballot and vote for Janko instead of Sager, and who will just complain about Sager on the internet.

You have a chance to make sure he is NOT the candidate this fall.

    Will you act accordingly?

  6. Against a drunken atheist, Sager could win.

Isn’t that how Franks got in?
