McHenry County Associate Judge Jeffrey Hirsch has ruled that Circuit Court judicial candidate Mary McClellan will not have a Special Prosecutor named to institute legal proceedings against Lisa Shamhart, the woman who obtained an anti-stalking ruling against McClellan based partially on the charge that the former County Clerk put a headless duck on her daughter’s porch.
Read for yourself the logic advanced by McClellan to have someone replace the State’s Attorney, who declined to prosecute Shamhart for indirect criminal contempt, and that of Judge Hirsch in rejecting McClellan’s arguments.
Judge Jeffrey Hirsch, good call.
The wording is priceless.
Now let’s hope she loses in the court of public opinion that she is qualified to be a judge.

How cay you become a judge when you don’t understand the law? SMH
You can’t be a Judge and get smacked down in a ruling like this that says your petition is lacking in law.
How can you sit in the lunch room with a Judge that smacked you this hard, rightfully so.
It is scary to think this woman wants to become a judge when she filed Motions like this. I hope to God nobody votes for her this woman in my opinion is not all there in the head.
Judge Hirsch is one of the most intelligent judges we have, and the competition is pretty fierce with considering we have Judge Coppedge, Judge Feetterer, Judge Facini and Judge Zalud. Unfortunately, we have some judges that round out the other end of the spectrum.
Can’t wait to see how she gets smacked down this Thursday.
Her motions babble on and don’t make any sense.
Cal, I’m sure you will have NO problem having this case dismissed, along with everyone else she is suing.
She’s the one who should be sued for attorneys fees, but then again, being on her fourth bankruptcy, I doubt anyone could collect.
