With the diagnosis of a teenagers with Coronavirus in McHenry County, I asked for the youth’s zip code.

The answer:

“The zip code of the infected teen is not available for release.”

I also asked if contact tracing was occurring.

That involves finding people who have been in contacted by the infected person and giving them appropriate advice.

The reply:

“The Department of Health is actively conducting  contact  tracking.”

  1. They should release the zip code at the very least.

I’m sure it will be outed soon.

  2. I’ll be its from the sanctuary city where they contacted if from…

  3. Yeah what gives…they do say he’s being quarantined at Good Shepherd hospital in Barrington…does that mean he’s from closer to that hospital than others in McHenry or Lake County?

    Why the secrecy?

  4. Got to keep the hysteria going so they can take over all your health care,
    just ask comrade Bernie.

  5. All lies. Brought to you by lying press that wants you in fear. Don’t follow their agenda!

  6. how about the word Bubonic Plague now there is one for you… time to go out and wipe out all the buttwipe on the store shelves now…

  7. You are all idiots that believe these lies. There is NOT even a test for this so-called “virus” yet. How are they deciding all these cases that they are telling you about when no one can test? They want you in fear and you are falling for it! You are going to let them shut the whole system down because you are blindly believing their lies. Shut off your teevee! Use your own common sense! And Paul, Really? Really? You’re going to quote the NY Times a source? If you still believe anything that they say then there is no hope whatsoever for you to wake the Hell up!

  8. Ok Cindy, calm down. It’s not all lies.

    How are COVID-19 tests done?

The most common diagnostic tests for COVID-19 are the so-called “PCR tests” that use swabbed samples from a patient’s nose and throat.

The first PCR tests were developed within two weeks from identifying the disease, and are currently part of the protocol recommended by the WHO.

  9. And Paul…what about the word pandemic do YOU NOT understand? A worldwide pandemic would kill off most in TWO WEEKS! This is a hoax they have been simmering since last NOVEMBER! You are a huge part of the problem with your fear porn. WAKE UP! I am sick to death of stupid, while you are gleefully fulfilling their agenda! You must be a politician.

  10. Just proves how much the Globalists absolutely HATE Trump and what
they will gin up to knock him out of the 2020 race even if it means destroying the economy.

No rest for the wicked, you know.

  11. Look up exponential growth Cindy.

    It is simple math.

This isn’t as tough as the Tsiolkovsky rocket equation.

  12. Might want to take a look at this article in which Andres Fauci says about 1% will die:

    https://theweek.com/speedreads/901470/coronavirus-10-times-more-lethal-than-seasonal-flu-trumps-task-force-immunologist-says
    Fromthe artile:

“The flu has a mortality rate of about 0.1 percent, so, when considering the likelihood that there are many asymptomatic or very mild cases that have gone undiagnosed, Fauci places the new coronavirus’ lethality rate at somewhere around 1 percent.’

  13. The Corona virus has caused unnecessary hysteria.

It’s hurting our economy more than ppl dying from it.

When events are cancelled due to fear, businesses and their employees are suffering. It’s a domino effect. Just take a look around, someone in your church, family or friends are somehow suffering financially.

Take a look at the stock market, your retirement funds and investments.

The only companies making money right now are those who make respiratory masks or toilet paper!

  14. I am writing to you from Bergamo, Italy, at the heart of the coronavirus crisis. The news media in the US has not captured the severity of what is happening here. I am writing this post because each of you, today, not the government, not the school district, not the mayor, each individual citizen has the chance, today to take actions that will deter the Italian situation from becoming your own country’s reality. The only way to stop this virus is to limit contagion. And the only way to limit contagion is for millions of people to change their behavior today.

If you are in Europe or the US you are weeks away from where we are today in Italy.

I can hear you now. “It’s just a flu. It only affects old people with preconditions”

There are 2 reasons why Coronavirus has brought Italy to it’s knees. First it is a flu is devastating when people get really sick they need weeks of ICU – and, second, because of how fast and effectively it spreads. There is 2 week incubation period and many who have it never show symptoms.

When Prime Minister Conte announced last night that the entire country, 60 million people, would go on lock down, the line that struck me most was “there is no more time.” Because to be clear, this national lock down, is a hail mary. What he means is that if the numbers of contagion do not start to go down, the system, Italy, will collapse.

Why? Today the ICUs in Lombardy are at capacity – more than capacity. They have begun to put ICU units in the hallways. If the numbers do not go down, the growth rate of contagion tells us that there will be thousands of people who in a matter of a week? two weeks? who will need care. What will happen when there are 100, or a 1000 people who need the hospital and only a few ICU places left?

On Monday a doctor wrote in the paper that they have begun to have to decide who lives and who dies when the patients show up in the emergency room, like what is done in war. This will only get worse.

There are a finite number of drs, nurses, medical staff and they are getting the virus. They have also been working non-stop, non-stop for days and days. What happens when the drs, nurses and medical staff are simply not able to care for the patients, when they are not there?

And finally for those who say that this is just something that happens to old people, starting yesterday the hospitals are reporting that younger and younger patients – 40, 45, 18, are coming in for treatment.

You have a chance to make a difference and stop the spread in your country. Push for the entire office to work at home today, cancel birthday parties, and other gatherings, stay home as much as you can. If you have a fever, any fever, stay home. Push for school closures, now. Anything you can do to stop the spread, because it is spreading in your communities – there is a two week incubation period – and if you do these things now you can buy your medical system time.

And for those who say it is not possible to close the schools, and do all these other things, locking down Italy was beyond anyone’s imagination a week ago.

Soon you will not have a choice, so do what you can now.

    Please share.

  15. Cal? I’m surprised that you would believe a shill from the NIH. It’s on his agenda to promote this junk! He’s lying! Even the center for disease concoction has released that they don’t HAVE a test yet. Is there even such a thing as a test for the common cold? A cure? Please! How many of their alerts (always happening during all the election years I might add)were false? MERS, SARS, H1N1, SWINE, EBOLA and now CORONA? If everyone kept their head and used their common sense this would blow over immediately. They are pulling out all the stops to get their agenda in place.

  16. Paul Revere is a moron and a shill for the new world order. He is fomenting lies and fear porn.

  17. Letter from Toronto: An Infectious Diseases Specialist Reflects on COVID-19

I’m a doctor and an Infectious Diseases Specialist. I’ve been at this for more than 20 years seeing sick patients on a daily basis. I have worked in inner city hospitals and in the poorest slums of Africa. HIV-AIDS, Hepatitis,TB, SARS, Measles, Shingles, Whooping cough, Diphtheria…there is little I haven’t been exposed to in my profession. And with notable exception of SARS, very little has left me feeling vulnerable, overwhelmed or downright scared.

I am not scared of Covid-19. I am concerned about the implications of a novel infectious agent that has spread the world over and continues to find new footholds in different soil.

I am rightly concerned for the welfare of those who are elderly, in frail health or disenfranchised who stand to suffer mostly, and disproportionately, at the hands of this new scourge. But I am not scared of Covid-19.

What I am scared about is the loss of reason and wave of fear that has induced the masses of society into a spellbinding spiral of panic, stockpiling obscene quantities of anything that could fill a bomb shelter adequately in a post-apocalyptic world.

I am scared of the N95 masks that are stolen from hospitals and urgent care clinics where they are actually needed for front line healthcare providers and instead are being donned in airports, malls, and coffee lounges, perpetuating even more fear and suspicion of others.

I am scared that our hospitals will be overwhelmed with anyone who thinks they ” probably don’t have it but may as well get checked out no matter what because you just never know…” and those with heart failure, emphysema, pneumonia and strokes will pay the price for overfilled ER waiting rooms with only so many doctors and nurses to assess.

I am scared that travel restrictions will become so far reaching that weddings will be canceled, graduations missed and family reunions will not materialize. And well, even that big party called the Olympic Games…that could be kiboshed too. Can you even imagine?

I’m scared those same epidemic fears will limit trade, harm partnerships in multiple sectors, business and otherwise and ultimately culminate in a global recession.

But mostly, I’m scared about what message we are telling our kids when faced with a threat. Instead of reason, rationality, open-mindedness and altruism, we are telling them to panic, be fearful, suspicious, reactionary and self-interested.
    Covid-19 is nowhere near over.

It will be coming to a city, a hospital, a friend, even a family member near you at some point. Expect it. Stop waiting to be surprised further. The fact is the virus itself will not likely do much harm when it arrives. But our own behaviors and “fight for yourself above all else” attitude could prove disastrous.

I implore you all. Temper fear with reason, panic with patience and uncertainty with education. We have an opportunity to learn a great deal about health hygiene and limiting the spread of innumerable transmissible diseases in our society. Let’s meet this challenge together in the best spirit of compassion for others, patience, and above all, an unfailing effort to seek truth, facts and knowledge as opposed to conjecture, speculation and catastrophizing.

Facts not fear. Clean hands. Open hearts.

Our children will thank us for it.

    Dr. Abdhu Sharkawy

  18. Sharkawy, the drear Moslem imam knows all, sees all.

His solution: massive introduction of aliens into our midst.

    No thanks.
