CL Chamber Postpones Business Expo

The Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce’s Business Expo is a prime place for politicians to meet people.

It’s also a grat place to get free ballpoint pens.

This year it was scheduled for the end of March.

Now comes this message from the Chamber:

“In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have made the decision to postpone the upcoming Crystal Lake Home & Business EXPO originally scheduled on March 28, 2020.

“This was a difficult decision, but for the safety of the community and exhibitors we feel it is the responsible decision.

“We are monitoring the situation closely and plan to reschedule EXPO once it is safe to do so.

“We will keep you informed as more information is available.”

  1. Huh, the grand prize door prize at the Expo was a ‘Caronavirus Casket’ handmade in Wuhan donated by Mark Justen candidate for County Coroner.

The donation had a little small print though, you had to use Mark Justen’s funeral home for the funeral.
