Defenders of McHenry Township Win Doubleheader — 11 Comments

  1. So they keep local control, instead of paying the same tax dollars to Jack Franks.

  2. I’d like to see results from every Bob Anderson backed township alteration type of referendum in McHenry County over the years.

I don’t have the data, but if my memory is right these numbers are even worse than the last time he tried.

He’s making no progress, possibly regressing.

idk… at a certain point don’t you have to take the hint that people don’t agree with you and move on to something more productive?

Imagine all the time people spent trying to save 10 percent of three percent of their property tax bill for one year.

Maybe it’s time to do something else?

    How important is this?

We’re debating which local government unit fills a pothole, not whether to abolish slavery.

  3. Bob and the rest of the anti township people are to dam lazy to actually prove their points, instead it’s just more bs lip service.

Spend the time, get the numbers and related facts, then make a plan so all can see, or stop wasting tax dollars on your whining nonsense.

  4. Perhaps the time has come for the people of McHenry Township to vote them out, so the township can get back to serving the needs of the township without board members that seem to resist everything?

  5. Had this been a general election the results would be different.

    Watch.

The parasite class who pay no taxes themselves but leech voted many times.

    How many illegals, also?

My township is rural and does a pretty good job.

These hyper municipalized townships are for the birds.

A lot of special ‘favors’ and stealing, just like what was exposed in Algonquin.

  6. Doesn’t make sense, more people to abolish the township flat out than voted to keep a second township bus line going.

Strange. But that’s what Illinois is.

  7. you will never get these people off the teet… in this STATE …
