Johnsburg Closes Playground Equipment, Warns of Contact Sports in Parks

From the Village of Johnsburg:

SOCIAL DISTANCING

We are experiencing an increase in children and adults congregating together in parks and other public places.

Please understand that by doing so you are putting yourself and your children at risk.

As a precautionary measure we are closing all playground equipment.

Additionally, we are experiencing youth playing group contact sports in the parks.

For your child’s safety, please ensure they remain off playground equipment and do not participate in contact sports.

If you are outside and encounter others, make sure you maintain a social distance of a minimum of six feet.

We realize that this is a difficult time for everyone, but understand that the Executive Orders instituted by the Governor are being done to keep us safe and healthy so please respect and follow the Orders.

  1. I think what Johnsburg is asking people to do is reasonable.

    Very reasonable.

Once again, few understand Exponential Growth.

  2. How about the exponential growth of brain-dead people who’ll do whatever they are told and think whatever they are told?

  3. Illinois, that is true exponential growth!

How the exponential growth of helplessness fueled by public ‘education’ at the hands of total cultural aliens like fallen Angel?

  4. Thais really funny bc I just saw about six boys playing basketball in J’burg.

  5. Johnsburg’s leadership has been the best in our area.

They show prudence where it is needed and allow the individual freedoms wherever and whenever it is reasonable.

Mayor Ed Hettermann and Chief VonAllmen are models for the county and state to follow.

It’s time to complement those doing a great job and not reflexively imposing governmental will by fiat just to appear “compassionate”.

  6. BS. Johnsburg has the worst kept up city streets.

they are a disgrace just like the fat-as#ed sleepy Mayor, Hettermann.

    He is a complete washout.

There was a picture of him and Dicky Durbin in his office.

    Tells you a lot!

  7. Come to Bison Lane and see for yourself!

Better Mann said our property taxes are ‘low”

    Is he that delusional?
