Algonquin Township Hall

Every Friday, anyone can receive boxes of food (non-perishable and fresh foods).

In order to abide by safe social distances, boxes will be packed by volunteers according to each family’s needs.

Distribution will begin at approximately from 1:30 p.m. and will continue until we’re out of food.

Last Friday 110 boxes of food were distributed.

  1. Did anyone get a load of Mayor Shlepley in the Northworst Herald speaking “candidly” regarding the Coronavirus pandemic.

I doubt he knows anymore about this than a third grader and only spoke for the self serving value of the publicity.

We’ll wait for the “Mayor of Virginia Street” to give his opinion as it would be coming from a more honest, knowledgeable and reputable source in my opinion.

Did Shlepley take the picture of himself used in this article yesterday trying to get his good side?

    Is there one?

Based on the picture, I’ve seen better looking turds in a yard!

  2. My sunshine blogger will be there; reporting, of course, what else could it be? Stay tuned…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, hug your neighbor, tic, tock, tic, tock, meeeeeeoooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww…

  3. Got this reply from Deb Heath, the woman in charge:

“We had to move temporarily during voting and right after came this lockdown thing.

“Algonquin is much better suited for us to do the drive-through delivery of food to the guests.

“Algonquin township is thrilled to have us and it is a lot more Room inside.

“The space we are in his 2 big overhead doors and we just open those and the driver brings the whole pallet in on a pallet Jack and drops it in the middle of the Room.”

At Nunda Township volunteers moved the boxes from pallets outside.

  4. Wasn’t he on the Board of Directors of Centegra Hospital.

Wasn’t he one of the Board Members who poo poo the new Mercy Hospital.

We sure could use that New Hospital now.Hmmm.

Also wasn’t his vision of Rte 14 adjacent to Three Oak was to have a hotel and eateries taking the place on Walmart property and some of the dilapidated run down building as long Rte 14.

    Hmmm.

What we have now is a new car dealership more closed businesses and whats left of the Walmart building.

    Carry on Chief.

  5. Frank Saravis, Yes, there is a good side to Shepley, who I always call Shemply (after the doltish oaf Shemp, in the 3 Stooges serial) .

And that would be his back as he’s walking away.

That’s because he won’t be lying any more, or insulting your intelligence with his in inanities.

  6. Thank you Cal for letting us know, but I want to make sure this is for Nunda residents, just because it’s at A.T. doesn’t mean for both Townships. I want to make sure before people start telling everyone hey come on over!

  7. The Methodist Church food distributions are open to everyone.

    There are no restrictions.

  8. Ms Trumpion, he sure looks like Schemp and nearly as brilliant.

Where are all the photos with his eyes bulging out of his head like he’s the new guy at the Big House?
