Yesterday, Trustee Brian Cecola and I delivered excess PPE masks from our Barrington Hills Police Department to Good Shepherd Hospital, after talking with a hospital representative via a Barrington Area Council of Governments (BACOG) Zoom meeting Tuesday night regarding shortages.
We had a significant oversupply that was about to expire, and the hospital obviously has an immediate need.
We live in the greatest country on Earth 🇺🇸
I believe it is important to pass this on…
🔹Carnival Cruise line told the President , “We can match those big Navy hospital ships with some fully staffed cruise ships.”
🔹GM & Ford said, “Hold our cars, watch this; we can make ventilators where we were making cars by next week.”
🔹Construction companies said, “Here are some masks for the medical staff & doctors.”
🔹Restaurants & schools said, “We’ve got kitchens & staff; we can feed the kids.”
🔹NHL & NBA players are writing checks to pay the arena staff during postponed seasons.
🔹Churches are holding online services & taking care of their members & community.
🔹Women & children are making homemade masks & handing out snacks to truckers. Thanks Jennifer Breither Shimp!
🔹Breweries /distilleries are making sanitizer out of the left-over ingredients. Thanks Rhine Hall!
🔹We thought we couldn’t live without baseball, hockey, & NASCAR, or going to beaches, restaurants, or a bar.. Instead, we’re ordering take-out to help keep businesses alive.
What they didn’t count on was America saying, “Hold on, we got this.”
Give us a little more time & we will be doing much better! Keep cheering each other on! We got this!

Nice spin on GM, they were ordered under the WPA to make the ventilators.

Looks like the CDC is re-evaluating previous directions given to we ordinary citizens regarding wearing of masks.
Now the cops can claim they don’t have masks, therefore they cannot handle calls from the public.
Bred, the surgeon general said ordinary people didn’t need to own or buy masks at all, but the next week he said they were essential for healthcare workers’
Whether it was 2 or 200, I personally appreciate it.
My wife is a nurse at Good Shepherd and the need for PPE is dire.
Each day she returns home it’s like a game of Battleship, but never really knowing right away if you go hit.
Fauci, the CDC dictator/fraud, has proclaimed that the nation will not return to normal until there no more Caronavirus cases or deaths.
That my friends is sheer lunacy.
