McHenry County Employee Compensation – A-Ba

Today McHenry County Blog begins posting compensation of McHenry County employees.

The figures show below include not only salary, but also health benefits, vacation and sick pay, plus uniform allowance.

Salary and benefit information for Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund employees are for salaries on FY 2019-20. It represents numbers that are projected to be earned at the completion of the fiscal year. Numbers do not become actual until the completion of the fiscal year.

State law only requires such information be posted for those earning over $75,000.

McHenry County, instead, decided to post such information for all employees to be more transparent.

McHenry County Employee Compensation – A-Ba — 14 Comments

  1. Cant wait to see the rest…sounds like you will be publishing the rest by each day. Thanks much.

  2. If there is something my sunshine blogger knows well is how to read the IQ level of his loyal readership. He knows very well that nothing is as effective in distracting and deflecting the attention of his minions from the latest management disaster from our six-times-bankrupt, sexual-assaulter-in-chief, than a long list of county employees’ salaries. We know what is ahead of us. “Who needs custodians? Who needs Administrative Supervisors? Who needs Nursing Assistants? Who needs Maintenance Workers? Who needs Correctional Officers? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh…” And to add suspense to the story, this is a “to be continued” post. Sit back, relax, and see for yourself how another of my prophecies become a reality. Stay tuned…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, meeeeeeoooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww…

  3. Fade to Black (oh, the irony), do please share with the class any certifiable and verifiable proof to support your claim of “Too many illegals on the payroll.”

Oh, and you get a ☆ for using the correct “too”.

  4. Most of these people couldn’t get a job on the private sector. Acosta? Really???

    Putrid

  5. Peter Austin, what a PoS!

Where did The Jackal fish him out of?

  6. Hey KTBay, when does your name show up on the list?

    How about the G’s!?

  7. Unless you are a department head or an elected official County employees don’t make squat.

These figures are not actual salaries.

They are construed by including benefits and pensions.

You can inflate anyone’s salaries by adding vacation, sick time and health benefits.

Employees pay into their pensions, which is matched by the pension fund.

    Just like a 401k.

  8. The figures do include all compensation, which includes fringe benefits.

  9. I do believe 2 Deputy Sheriff’s were killed in recent times and who’d wanna be a jailer or a cop these days.

    Deserve every penny they get.
