Woodstock Police Institutes Electronic Reporting

From the Woodstock Police Department:

FILE A POLICE REPORT ONLINE:

We encourage all of our residents to use our new Online Reporting System to file a report for non-emergency and not-in-progress crimes/issues.

This simple online system gives you the ability to submit reports to our department at your convenience and from the comfort of your own home.

During the current times, this option also helps us keep you and our officers safer from catching or spreading COVID-19.

What to expect after filing an online report:

An officer will contact you within a couple of hours to inform you of what actions WPD will be taking and what to expect, depending on the circumstances of your reported incident.

At this time you can receive the official WPD Incident Report number.

Online reports that will be accepted are as follows:

  1. Like domestic disturbances at the Sager mansion among his young roommates?

  2. Hopefully, this new reporting system will enable the WPD to reduce its headcount.

It should always be a public policy goal to have more people pushing the cart and fewer people riding in it.
