The figures show below include not only salary, but also health benefits, vacation and sick pay, plus uniform allowance.
Salary and benefit information for Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund employees are for salaries on FY 2019-20. It represents numbers that are projected to be earned at the completion of the fiscal year. Numbers do not become actual until the completion of the fiscal year.
State law only requires such information be posted for those earning over $75,000.
McHenry County, instead, decided to post such information for all employees to be more transparent.

The pay and benefits are out of this world and not even in the same League, let alone Category, with anyone in the Private Sector.
Where and when did it get so out of balance?
Is it true none of them are furloughed while not actually working, but the rest of us are?
Nine people at the University of Illinois involved with football or athletics are paid a total of $10.1 Million dollars per year salary. Coach Lovie Smith heads the list of ALL Illinois Government employees at highest amount of $3.4 Million per year. The nine people are in the top 19 list of highest salaries for government workers.
How pathetic are our values in this nation that coaches and gym teachers have such huge salaries.

BGA also has pension yearly pension amounts of retired Illinois government workers and there are many who make over $100k, $200K and $300K per year.
Our State needs to somehow declare bankruptcy with many of these very rich workers and retirees getting severe haircuts.
