The Coronavirus pandemic is reaching into mid-June now.

That’s when First Church in Crystal Lake holds its Vacation Bible School.

Here is the announcement:

“Due to the current COVID19 restrictions and with a strong recommendation from Governor Pritzker (from April 9, 2020) to cancel any large gatherings planned for this summer to keep our community, family, and friends healthy, we have decided we will not host VBS June 15-19, 2020.

“We are sad to share this news with you and know many will feel this loss. 

“Please know First Church staff and friends are here to support you if you need someone to talk with during these days of shelter in place and beyond.”
