From State Rep. Steve Reick:

Governor JB Pritzker has extended the stay at home order until May 31st, which includes the following modifications:

  • OUTDOOR RECREATION:
    • State parks will begin a phased re-opening. A list of parks that will be open on May 1 and additional guidelines can be found on the DNR website HERE.

  • FACE COVERINGS: Beginning on May 1, all individuals over the age of two who are able to medically tolerate a face-covering or a mask will be required to wear a face-covering or a mask when in a public place where they can’t maintain a six-foot social distance. Face-coverings will be required in public indoor spaces, such as stores. This new requirement applies to.
  • ESSENTIAL BUSINESSES AND MANUFACTURING: Essential businesses and manufacturers will be required to provide face-coverings to all employees who are not able to maintain six-feet of social distancing, as well as follow new requirements that maximize social distancing and prioritize the well-being of employees and customers. This will include occupancy limits for essential businesses and precautions such as staggering shifts and operating only essential lines for manufacturers.
  • SCHOOLS: Educational institutions may allow and establish procedures for pick-up of necessary supplies or student belongings. Dormitory move-outs must follow public health guidelines, including social distancing.

I’d like for you to complete a short seven-question survey on his latest actions. Please add comments to any of these questions in the box at the bottom of the survey.

  1. Is he drunk again?

I ask about his liquor intake and if he’s loose on the roads again, roaring drunk.

    What a grandstander!

    Useless RINO.

  2. Oh good Lord….

Is it so hard to understand politicians in a free society hold their positions and power only by and through the consent of The People?

We absolutely realize the schools are churning out subjects rather than well educated Citizens but you’d think we could pull 3% out of the matrix.

    J.B. is done.

That moronic goob can’t do math, doesn’t understand science and can’t buy decent counsel for anything.

He must have made Madigan angry to get hung out so badly.

The State can’t fund its Unemployment rolls nor can it cover the pandemic band aids they ceremoniously passed so they’ve completely lost control of The People.

If you want to tell a free capitalist they must close their business, send their valued employees home and stay home themselves you can pay for the privilege but when your checkbook can’t cover your idiot mouth’s promises you lose control.

The whole control thing politicians seem to think they have is illusory.

Politicians can give all the information and facts of a situation to a free people but they can’t force any Citizen to do anything.

    Ever.

    For any reason.

Sorry to those of you who believe the United States should become a different form of government than our original framers designed it to be but we are free.

Free means you need consent and cooperation of The People, not obeisance.

Sorry it’s so tough on you Pols but we’re done with you.

Thank you for so wildly overstepping any authority you might have had so we can wake a few more from the matrix.

We appreciate your selfish arrogance very much.

  3. No thanks.

He wants my name and e-mail address before I can see the whole survey.

I wonder if there is a question about reopening bars sooner.

  4. Apparently Rep. John Cabello is filing a class-action lawsuit against JB.

Hope that Reick also steps up to propose some reasonable alternative’s to Pritzker’s plan.

  5. If Reick needs help on the Outdoor Recreation issues, we need a new State Rep.

The restrictions on golf, boating and State Park usage are juvenile.

Stand up and be counted Mr. Reick.

  6. Reick is a total douche, even worse than Weber, if that’s possible.

Does Madigan really send him a case of Boone’s Farm every week.

He should really put up a stink if Weber gets a case of Dewar’s!

  7. When I complained about the transgender agenda at my son’s middle school last fall to Rep. Reick, he said he had ‘full confidence in the teachers’ and cut me off.

    I really resented it.

  8. Whalen, I think that a lot of people will see covid-19 as a good reason to take their kids out of the public school system.

The current material that they are sending home should be a good indicator of the low bar of our schools and how much makework, feelgood, socialist nonsense that they peddle.

Instead, I’m spending more time properly teaching math because the common core system is broken and we have more time by leaving out the stuff that they use to fill 7-8 hours of wasted time in a day.
