Ex-Justice Department Bully Andrew Weissman, Who Brought Arthur Anderson Down and Fled Mueller Commission Before It Imploded, Ends Up in Chicago Law Firm

Former Justice Department attorney Andrew Weissmann has landed at the Jenner and Block law firm.

Weissmann, for those unfamiliar with perfidious background, was the strategist behind the demise of the Arthur Anderson accounting/consulting firm, based in our area.

His performance so enraged attorney Sidney Powell that she wrote the book “Licensed to Lie.”

Here’s how Amazon promotes the book:

“Licensed to Lie” exposes the underbelly of Andrew Weissman.

A tragic suicide, a likely murder, wrongful imprisonment, and gripping courtroom scenes draw readers into this compelling story giving them a frightening perspective on justice corrupted and who should be accountable when evidence is withheld.

Licensed to Lie: Exposing Corruption in the Department of Justice is the true story of the strong-arm, illegal, and unethical tactics used by headline-grabbing federal prosecutors in their narcissistic pursuit of power.

Its scope reaches from the US Department of Justice to the US Senate, the FBI, and the White House.

This true story is a scathing attack on corrupt prosecutors, the judges who turned a blind eye to these injustices, and the president who has promoted them to powerful political positions.

The documentation of Weissmann’s improper maneuvering to undo Arthur Anderson is overwhelming.

And, remember, the U.S. Supreme Court found the prosecution too bad to uphold.

Alex Kozinski, Chief Judge, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. wrote this in the book’s forward:

“This book should serve as the beginning of a serious conversation about whether our criminal justice system continues to live up to its vaunted reputation. As citizens of a free society, we all have an important stake in making sure that it does.”

Powell levied scathing critiques of Wiessmann during the Robert Mueller probe, which can be found on YouTube.

Here’s a lecture Powell gave at Hissldale College:

  1. Sidney Powell has done a lot of work to expose shenanigans and the fraudulent interviews/investigations of former General Michael Flynn by the federal bureau that does investigations. It’s all coming out in the days to come. Hopefully our current US Attorney General will be doing prosecutions per her findings with perhaps some then going to jail. Flynn was framed. He will be exonerated.

Would assume that the mostly left wing media will not be covering much of this and will try to sweep it under the rug.

  2. The Jenner firm is worst of the worst.

Old man Jenner conducted the Warren Commission’s direct examinations.

Quite a few people died and went ‘missing’ before their scheduled examinations.

Jenner put dozens way at the line’s end so ‘nature could take its course.’

  3. Bert Jenner was a neighbor of mine when I was a kid.

I can’t recall ever hearing a good word spoken about him.

  4. Some day, and hopefully soon, the entire Mueller report will come out, and Trumps tax returns will come out.

    I can’t wait…

  5. Looks like curtains for those who conspired against Michael Flynn. Comey, Strzok and his colleague girl friend and others in that organization. This conspiracy went on during the final weeks of the Barak Hussein Obama regime. What did that guy know and when did he know it?

  6. A natural progression for a person of his character.

Chicago will make him feel right at home.

  7. Is Obama resuming his gay lifestyle these days?

Does he tell the secret service to take a hike like Billy Clinton?

Or does he let them watch like Nelson Rockefeller?

  8. I wish everyone would research the laws that pertain to our Income Tax Returns. In 1913, when President Wilson signed into law the current Federal Income Tax…It became illegal for anyone to legally demand to see any American citizen’s Tax Return. This included Prosecutor’s, Judge’s, and Congress Members.

If a person is accused of cheating on their taxes, or some other financial crime…the IRS is to be served with a subpoena requesting the information on the accused person’s crimes…and IRS investigator’s will then investigate.

If they find evidence pertaining to the requests from the prosecutor’s, Judge’s or Congress Member’s…the returns specific to those accusations will be released to one or two authorities investigating that crime…

With Trump…the Democrats want 40 yrs of returns released, without any specific crime listed.

There is no crime that Congress is investigating…which would pertain to his taxes, they simply want to go on a fishing expedition…

Imagine if the police could get a warrant for any of our houses…where they demand the right to search our homes, the homes of all family and friends…simply to see if they can find evidence of wrong doing.

This is why they want his taxes.

  9. Thank you.

    Clear thinking.

Strong on justice and restrained regarding retribution.

    Revenge belings to the Lord.

If the Republic is to survive in any recognizable form the rule of Law must be reimposed without prejudice expeditiously.

  10. Sidney, are saying that Mike Flynn did not lie about his contacts with Sergio Kislyak?

That he did not ask for reassurances that Russia would not retaliate for sanctions that Obama had imposed for Russian interference in the US elections, and about his request that Russia delay a United Nations Security Council vote on a resolution that would condemn Israel for its settlement activity?

Did General Flynn not register as a foreign agent for Turkey until he was caught?
