  1. Sounds like the participants were not practicing “Social Distancing”
as required by Our Lord Jumbo Boy.

He will indeed be very disappointed to hear of this shameful insolence.

  2. Looks like the self-imposed cabin fever is ramping up to a crescendo.

  3. Wow!

    This is ironic.

I saw the exact same thing happen when I was in the third grade.

Jimmy got mad at Larry and pushed him.

Larry then cried to the teacher about it and she took Jimmy down to the principal’s office.

    WOW!

That really had the rest of the class talking.

Yep same thing, only Jimmy and Larry had a good excuse for their conduct.

    They were eight years old.

  4. L. Ron, you made me laugh so hard my gut hurts!

Paul Serwatka cleaned up that rotten burg, but when left, the jungle returned– just like Tikal in Guatemala.

  5. Where was jackalope extraordinaire Patty O’Kenneally during this brouhaha?

Likely hiding under his desk in my opinion!

  6. Isn’t the lobby of the village hall where this took place video recorded?

  7. Glad to see that things have not changed since the days of Catherine Peterson and her henchman and neighbor Larry Howell.

  8. I worked at Redtail ,,

So glad I left when i did!!

I wrote a letter to the board when i left, warning them all about Jeannine and Phil back in 2018…

    Good Riddance

  9. Hey…You mess with the Lakewood village board, and you’re messin’ with the whole trailer park!

  10. Obviously those making comments here have not experienced the frustration of working within government and trying to make a difference.

I won’t defend anyone for childish behavior but I will call out those that like to play armchair quarterback when they weren’t even in the room.

If you have a problem with how things are getting done, go ahead and run for office.

As far as abolishing Lakewood, you’re assuming that the citizens choosing to live here want anything to do with the neighborhing towns.

Lakewood exists because Crystal Lake isn’t desirable.

    Try reading.

  11. There are many in Lakewood that would welcome annexation to Crystal Lake.

We already share so much with CL and don’t get the benefit of the Library, we don’t have many parks but pay for them.

The codes in Lakewood are ridiculous and the board isn’t interested in changing and adapting.

Try getting permit for a screen porch, deck or any basic improvement without paying a fortune in fees, architects fees, engineering… hell you can’t build a shed in most areas.

    Who ever heard of that?
