Blood Alcohol Level BAC limit for driving is 0.08. Presumably, those going to bars have a designated driver to bring drinkers back their homes. BAC of 0.08 is about 4 beers. But, even one beer by a driver will slightly impair reflexes and could be the difference between a safe drive and an incident or crash.
I’m not convinced that those stats are real, any more than we have political polls on both sides that completely contradict one another.
It’s probably fair to say that it’s nearly 50/50.
It’s also fair to say that impressions have changed in the past month, so it would be a good idea to post a poll when trying to cite it as evidence.
