Court Order Finds Jack Franks “Willfully and Contumaciously” in Indirect Contempt of Court

Here is Judge Kevin Busch’s court order holding McHenry County Board Chairman Jack Franks in indirect contempt of court for refusing to answer questions posed by attorney Philip Prossnitz in McHenry County Clerk Joe Tirio’s defamation suit against the Illinois Integrity Fund, etc.

Not exactly the “friendly contempt” order described by the Northwest Herald.

  1. Franks, our elected cultural marxist, will never pay a cent.

    Watch and wait.

    Mark my words!

Papa Franks laughs at the ninnies, as he places some calls.

The higher courts will get their ‘directions.’

  2. Yep, a legal word used to show utter disdain for the actions of a defendant.

    con·tu·ma·cious /ˌkänt(y)o͝oˈmāSHəs/adjectivearchaic•Law
    adjective: contumacious

(especially of a defendant’s behavior) stubbornly or willfully disobedient to authority

Nearest translation to normal “people speak” is that the defendant is acting like an asshole.

Hard to believe, I know, but it’s apropos.

Friendly contempt! LOL! I doubt the Northworst coined that term, I wonder. . .

  3. The dollars don’t start adding until May 22, Franks doesn’t give hoot.

How about $5000 a day, that might get the sex freak’s attn.

Shame in the judge who gave a wrist slap.

    Did Prossnitz suggest the ant?

    Figures.

  4. Katie Smith (the envy of Ed Komenda) at the NWH clearly has adopted a fake news persona.

Interesting that a lowly Highway Commissioner was front page tabloid.

Now Franks (shown with halo) is page 4 and the tabloid says it’s “friendly”.

    What a bunch of crap.

Nobody ought to pay a penny for that rag.

Go get him Joe and Phil keep him on the ropes!

  5. As a former LE, now retired, I don’t put too much faith in Prossnitz. Why?

    Talks big, but figs out.

That certainly IS a friendly contempt amount.

Given Franks’ wealth, a $1000 per day (at least) gradation was called for.

I’m still trying to figure out why Chuck Wheeler dropped his suit — wasn’t it based on the same things that got Jacko in hot water?

  6. What the hell does ‘figs out’ mean?

Prossnitz did ok, I guess, but a c note a day?

C’mon judgie-fudgie, a contempt order is supposed to hurt to get the goof to do what he’s supposed to.

Franks spends more than that each day on his bootleg Cubans.

Franks can ride that out for 20 years, fifty, once Dad shuffles off the mortal coil and the fat cat’s will is read.

  7. Why does Prossnitz get the $ and not Tirio?

What were the ‘reasons’ Jack’s lawyer gave for flouting?

    Too busy with County hijinx?

    Too many sex cases?

Wife keeps hitting over the head with a rolling pin crying “Why, why, why!”?

Too busy saving every man, woman, child, infant, transgendered and all their pets from COVID 19?

Peter Austin told him not to?

Jack is a Jewish American Prince, exempt from ordinary laws and rules?

Well, what were the ‘reasons’ ?

  8. ‘Toilet bowel state,’ this lawsuit isn’t costing the taxpayers. ( if that’s what you were thinking)
