McHenry County Libertarians are passing petitions to put candidates on the fall ballot for County Auditor and Coroner.
Their County Auditor candidate is Jim Young of Crystal Lake.
Running for Coroner is Greenwood Township Trustee Kelly Liebmann.
If either receives 5% of the vote, the Libertarian Party would be qualified as an “Established” party requiring fewer petition signatures to get on the ballot.
Kelly is v good
Anyone is better than the current two on the Republican ballot.
It looks like the LP is also trying to get congressional candidates on the ballot. They have petitions which can be signed online.

If you signed for a Democrat or a Republican, you may still sign for a third party (but you may not sign for multiple third parties).
However, I think if you were a circulator for one party, you may not circulate for another party.
