  1. Uh oh. What went wrong at McAlister?

Or maybe he didn’t fit in there.

  2. McHenry County should be reducing the number of employees and cutting their budgets—not hiring!

This is how a county that may see a $22 million reduction in income (taxes) reduces spending???

  3. Another Butt Boy de jour at the McHenry County States Attorney’s Office! Pucker up buttercup!

  4. The job market for lawyers must be getting tight again.

Believe it or not, the University of Kentucky College of Law is a giant step up from the John Marshall or NIU/SIU bottom feeders that usually get hired by the SA’s office.

  5. Right on, Bot!

This is tone deaf given the historic unemployment rate and it is not fiscally conservative.

Revenue is projected to be down. How is the government hiring more people?

They probably shouldn’t be hiring right now but, at the very least, if the Sheriff’s and State’s Attorney’s office are going to put out press releases saying they’re hiring new people or have already hired new people, they should explain to the public the need for those hires.

Did somebody leave and those spots are just being re-filled?

Were they already low on staff? Did somebody die from the coronavirus?

    Transparency is good.

Perhaps their overall number of employees is actually down despite this new hire.

If so, that would have been a great thing to mention in this press release…

Patrick Kenneally is so incompetent, it’s painful to watch.

  6. If only someone would have run for State’s Attorney proposing to significantly reduce the number of attorneys.

    Oh wait. #permanentpublicservice

  7. Billy Bob, you are so right about John Marshall, but most of the corrupt judges in N. Illinois hale from there.

My Brother in law who got disbarred was a JM ‘gown’.

  8. That’s crud COWlin the midget swearing in the mouse trying to be a rat. Cowlin is a ‘versatile’ chap.

  9. I’m not a lawyer, BO.

I have too many of them in my family already.

One of the biggest problems with the profession is that there are far too many lawyers, and bottom of the barrel law schools exacerbate the problem by graduating people who have no business practicing law.

  10. I concur with Billy Bob. Look at the illustrious crooked Chemiel! How can he still be on the bench after his crookedness with the Miller crime clan was exposed?
