Ives’ 4×4 signs for fall seen in Rutland Township in Kane County
As reported last month, Democratic incumbents Sean Casten and Lauren Underwood chose to file 90-day extensions to their annual Financial Disclosure (FD) statements which were originally due on May 15. The Democrats’ new due date is August 13.
The Republican congressional nominees in the 6th and 14th districts could have opted to do the same, but neither of them did.
Both Jeanne Ives and Jim Oberweis filed their respective FDs last month, and both are available online to be viewed at the House clerk’s website:

And while it is now early June, the first of the fall campaign signs were observed in Rutland Township in northern Kane County on Huntley Road.
An Ives 4×4 sign is at the corner of Galligan Road and Huntley Road, and a 2nd 4×4 is at the intersection of Square Barn Road and Huntley Road within a quarter miles from each traffic signal intersection.
There were no Oberweis signs spotted as of yet, but will admit, not going out of my way to find them unless we happen to drive by, and haven’t driven past those Huntley Road intersections since late April.
