Contribution from Radical Leftist Serves as Political “Hush Fund” for Rep. Underwood
When someone contributes to your campaign, if that contributor does something stupid, takes an ignorant stand, you may feel reticent to stand up and point out their foolishness, even if the idiocy is the idea of defunding or disbanding police forces around the country.
Such is the dilemma where some might expect to find Democrat Rep. Lauren Underwood (IL-14).
She has accepted a $2,000 campaign contribution from Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN-5).
Omar is a member of ‘The Squad,’ a group of four far-Left House representatives (the others, all Democrats, are: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez [known as AOC] (NY-14), Ayanna Pressley (MA-7) and Rashida Tlaib (MI-13).
Underwood is not an open member of The Squad, though her voting record suggests that she fits right in.
Is it possible that Underwood agrees?
Does she want to defund the police – disband the police?
But she’s been rather quiet about the whole defund/disband the police idea.
This is also customary Underwood behavior.
Generally, a far-Left approach to governance is not something that will sell really big in the 14th Congressional District of Illinois.
Oh, there are areas where folks just love that kind of thing – in blue zones of Woodstock or Gurnee.
But, generally, radical Left is not the kind of voting record folks in the area appreciate.
If you represent Illinois’ 14th, and you vote that way, you have to keep your voting record off the public radar unless convenient.
And this includes when your patron wants to eliminate the police.
And people around here do appreciate the police.
They realize that, in spite of the criminally tragic action of a police officer in Minneapolis, the police around the country are overwhelmingly good people.
If someone is breaking in their door in the middle of the night, these folks are thrilled to have the police on their side, and the sooner the better.
And, so, it’s understandable that Underwood is lying low these days.
With an election only four months away, even in our politically charged environment, it’s not prudent to go around talking about eliminating the police, or expressing support for a colleague who does.
She needs your vote before she lets that cat out of the bag.
Of course FAKE NURSE Underwood is in favor of disband the police.
She is after all a radical Leftist DEMOLCRAT and BLM advocate like her shero Omar,
otherwise Underwood would not have gratefully accepted said contribution.
Her silence belies her position which is unpopular with the majority of voters
on this matter because of this being an election year.
Kudos Richard Rostron for working to get the true picture of Lauren Underwood out there.
She’s not that warm, cuddly, reading kindergarteners a book person she’s made out to be!
More than anything she wants to hang onto her job, and she cannot break with the Democratic Socialists.

It’s inexcusable that people are doing things like this.
The person(s) responsible need to be given a Smollet-style trial, but NASCAR and fakenews are doubling down, and Bubba gets on at least two news shows and blatantly lies, and can’t even look the people in the eye when he lies on Don Lemon’s show where he contradicts his previous statements.
Personally I think that Bubba was used by NASCAR, just as the evil left always uses identity politics to manipulate and control people.
They hear lies about “racism” and just go absolutely insane.
I was hopeful that Bubba would come forward, apologize for his statements about “conspiracy theories” and that people just “aren’t willing to accept change”.
He had a chance to make it right, but instead his ego was inflated by all of the support that he got for a lie, so he LIED even more.
Now he will never be looked at with any degree of credibility, and videos of how he’s treated other drivers in the past seem to indicate that he’s just another person who’s been given a green light to treat people any way that he wants in order to get what he wants out of them.
Photos show that NASCAR unlooped other garage door pulls so as to hide the evidence of the alleged “noose” existing on every other garage door.
