The Disgusting and Despicable Lincoln Project and Similar Groups – Part 1

“…they are life long Republicans who put country over this new Trumped out version of the Republican Party…”

Above quote from commenter “Oh” from previous article

From Illinois Family Action reprinted with permission of author Laurie Higgins:

Bitter, Shortsighted Never-Trumpers Harming America

Those who refuse to vote for President Trump because they find his tweets and temperament off-putting are small-minded, myopic, self-indulgent traitors to America. They are indulging their antipathy for Trump at the expense of America’s future.

There is a loathsome campaign afoot by Never-Trumpers/RINOs/Establishment Republicans (aka the D.C. swamp) to bequeath to the next generation a country of far more oppression, far less liberty, far greater educational indoctrination, a darker economic future, and more threats domestic and foreign. The traitorous machinations of these so-called Republicans are driven largely by their hostility toward Trump’s responses to the relentless hostility of the leftist press.

The New Hampshire Union Leader—a newspaper well-known for its attention to presidential elections and which endorsed libertarian Gary Johnson in the 2016 electiondescribes the unseemly efforts of the loose consortium of quislings:

[L]eading members of the anti-Trump bloc believe they can be helpful to Biden by sharply attacking Trump on divisive and controversial topics that campaigns typically avoid.

It’s hard to imagine a political impulse on the part of Republicans in this lawless, morally disordered era more reprehensible than trying to “be helpful to Biden”—the titular head of the party of oppression and moral disorder.

These quisling groups include “Republican Voters Against Trump” (founding member the embittered Never-Trumper Bill Kristol), “Right Side PAC” (adviser Anthony Scaramucci—lol), “43 Alumni for Biden” formed by George W. Bush administration alumni, and the inaptly named Lincoln Project whose members include nasty Never-Trumper George Conway III, husband of President Trump’s counselor, Kellyanne Conway.

Do the Lincoln Project anarchy-supporters believe Abraham Lincoln would have favored the Democrat Party today—the party that has reverted to its racist past when it loved slavery and Jim Crow laws? The only difference now is instead of hating blacks, Democrats hate whites.

Somehow, however, Democrats have managed to cling to their racist goal of opposing educational opportunities for blacks while still enjoying the support of blacks. Is a puzzlement.

Would Lincoln support homosexuality, cross-dressing, and the surgical mutilation of children? Would Lincoln support voting rights for illegal aliens?

Would Lincoln—the man who spoke these words about the Civil War—help elect Biden whose party is openly hostile to the Christian faith:

Fondly do we hope, fervently do we pray, that this mighty scourge of war may speedily pass away. Yet, if God wills that it continue until all the wealth piled by the bondsman’s two hundred and fifty years of unrequited toil shall be sunk, and until every drop of blood drawn with the lash shall be paid by another drawn with the sword, as was said three thousand years ago, so still it must be said “the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.”

In a patently obvious and silly effort to distract Americans from Biden’s cognitive impairment, the Lincoln Project produced a video that says, “Something’s wrong with Donald Trump. He’s shaky, weak, trouble speaking, trouble walking.” Their evidence is a photo of him climbing the steps of Air Force One with a tissue stuck to his shoe and a slowed down video clip of Trump walking carefully down a metal ramp. #eyeroll.

What about the countless examples of Biden unable to complete a sentence or retrieve a word? What about Biden’s campaign sequestering him in his basement for the entire campaign season in order to prevent the public from seeing how desperately Charlie McCarthy Biden needs all those Edgar Bergens? What about leftist New York Times columnist and Biden supporter Thomas Friedman publicly saying,

I worry about Joe Biden debating Donald Trump.

Do all these GOP swampsters really think they can convince Republican voters that Trump is more impaired than Biden? These self-anointed, elitist, power-hungry swamp creatures must believe the deplorables are also idiots.

If Biden wins, here is the likely future of America:

  • Our children and grandchildren will be left penniless because Democrats will make them pay for free college, free healthcare, reparations, the Green New Deal (which is based on a web of lies), energy dependence, higher taxes, and more government regulation of business (the costs of which will be passed on to consumers).
  • Our children and grandchildren who care deeply about the unborn will be forced to pay for their slaughter.
  • Daniel Henninger of the Wall Street Journal recently said that the next president will have the opportunity to nominate at least one Supreme Court Justice and that if Joe Biden is the president, he will nominate someone to the left of Sonia Sotomayor.
  • Biden and his commie puppeteers will extort suburbs into building low-income multi-occupancy housing and expanding their downtown districts through the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing rule, turning lovely, safe suburbs into the kind of blighted urban areas Democrats have long ruled.
  • The Equality Act will pass and the assault on speech rights and religious liberty will intensify. Christians will see oppression like we have never seen in America. “Trans”-cultists and their accomplices will continue with more power and renewed vigor their assault on free speech.
  • Washington D.C. will gain two U.S. Senate seats, thereby guaranteeing Democratic control of the Senate in perpetuity.
  • Borders will be opened wide, and illegal immigrants will be granted the right to vote, thereby ensuring Democrats win every election.
  • The Electoral College will be eliminated, thereby 1. transforming the Founding Fathers’ Republic into the direct democracy they feared, and 2. granting enormous power to leftist-dominated urban areas while silencing the voices of those who live in huge geographic swaths of America.
  • Unconstitutional religious tests for holding office—like those Bernie SandersCory BookerDiane Feinstein, and Tricky Dick Durbin tried to impose on Trump appointees—will become increasingly common.
  • Bail will be eliminated and prisons emptied while police will be defunded, thereby making communities far more dangerous and unlivable, and not even suburbs will offer sanctuary to law-abiding citizens.
  • School choice will become a long-lost pipe dream, and the America-hating racism-profiteers and “trans”-cultists who self-identify as “educators” will have captive audiences in their Marxist minion-making machines known as “public schools.” Already powerful teachers’ unions that support every far-leftist cause will grow even more powerful.
  • A refusal to vote for Trump is a de facto vote for the party that supports the despicable, revolutionary Marxist Black Lives Matter™ organization that is explicitly committed to destroying the nuclear family and normalizing homosexuality and cross-sex passing.
  • Biden has committed to forcing Little Sisters of the Poor and other religious institutions to provide “medical insurance that guarantees free birth control, tubal ligation and morning-after abortifacients.”

Never-Trumpers, RINOs, and D.C. swamp creatures get their panties in a twist over Trump’s boorish tweets, apparently finding them more horrific than a Biden administration’s eager support for human slaughter, the tyrannical Equality Act, and a Supreme Court more radical than it’s ever been.

In contrast, Princeton University law professor and eloquent defender of human life and marriage Robert P. George wrote this in December 2019:

If you believe, as Evangelicals and Catholics believe, that abortion is the unjust killing of innocent and defenseless members of the human family, then it is nigh impossible to imagine circumstances under which one could support a politician who pledges to work night and day to deny unborn children any legal protection against the lethal violence now visited with impunity upon nearly a million of them each year.

Author, historian, and Hoover Institution Senior Fellow Victor Davis Hanson pleads with Americans to vote for Trump:

This election no longer is about Trump’s tweeting. … It has nothing to do anymore with a lockdown, the virus, or the economy. … It’s an existential question … about whether you want civilization and you believe that America doesn’t have to be perfect to be good and we are not … going to destroy all that people died for, or [whether] you feel it was inherently flawed with a cancer and we have to use radiation and chemotherapy and kill the host to kill the cancer. That’s the choice we are looking at, and I’m going to vote for civilization.

Me too.

Refusing to vote for Trump is a pat on one’s own back for being a better human than the riffraff who vote for the bad orange man and a signal that confers virtue on short-sightedness. It says that rejecting Trump in the short-term is worth the long-term damage done to the unborn, religious liberty, speech rights, education, national security, the economy, and the financial future of the next generation.

Voting for Trump is no more a vote for the man per se than voting for Biden is a vote for the cognitively impaired marionette befuddled Biden. We are voting for principles, policies, and proxies. And yes, not voting for Trump grows out of pettiness and constitutes a betrayal of America and our children.

Part 2 will include incontrovertible evidence the real motivations behind The Lincoln Project and similar groups, and it’s not that tough to figure out.

Commenters, we want to hear what you think in your own words. Please keep the comments on main topic, not tangents. And if you think you need to put a link into your comments, you’re not saying something in your own words, and simply “I read about this in The Washington Post…” is sufficient.

The Disgusting and Despicable Lincoln Project and Similar Groups – Part 1 — 22 Comments

  1. Both Biden and Trump are horrible choices. Both have sexual predator tendencies and both will say whatever they think people want to hear for votes.

I do have to admit, as a more neutrally political person… What’s been written here automatically puts me on the other stance because you’re openly hating on gays and groping them into trans people. I don’t think genital mutilation is the way, but we’re also circumcising boys still. That’s still genital mutilation.

Article seems very “us vs them.” Just stand within eyesight of eachother and start a melee once you can see their eyes. I want the entertainment. Colorado plague squirrels only offer so much.

  2. Rob: “Both Biden and Trump are horrible choices. Both have sexual predator tendencies and both will say whatever they think people want to hear for votes.”

You don’t know this. You judge others based upon what you’ve heard. Look, I don’t like Biden, but even I think that what you are claiming is not rooted in evidence. Yeah, we’ve seen all of the creepy sniffing and holding videos. I don’t trust the guy either, but I think that you need to be careful with that.

“I do have to admit, as a more neutrally political person… ”

You’re politically neutral because you’re an atheist but aren’t into the radical nonsense that’s become more mainstream since Obama was in office. I’ve been the same way.

Trump is not a career politician. Biden is. Trump is a nationalist. Biden is a globalist like MOST career politicians today.

Trump is a threat to the globalist traitors who were already in office.

It has nothing to do with his Tweets and temperament, as some might imply.

Maybe that’s the case to the angry leftists on Twitter, but that’s not why the politicians fear him.

A regular business man was elected as president.

That frightens them. Even Reagan was Governor and also involved in other forms of politics before he became president.

The mainstream media is being dishonest about why the phony republican RINOs / never-Trumpers and Democrats really want him to be removed.

Biden is just temporary to bring in someone who will be far worse.

Even the Democrats don’t want him, but they know it’s just a means to an end to bring in the person that they really want.

All “republicans” would be best off to stop this from happening.

  3. “…they are life long Republicans who put country over this new Trumped out version of the Republican Party…”

The content of this article really is summed up by that since comment.

We should not be listening to what Far left radicals like PinocchiOH claim about Republicans.

Almost daily she has some sort of “evidence” about how a Republican does something that supports her agenda.

I’m paraphrasing, but it’s something like: “Here, look! A Republican said this or did this, so it must be true because it supports my claim!”

That mindset is a far-left mindset because all radical leftists have a hive mind, they believe that all Republicans also have a hive mind.

The real world does not work this way.

If you listen to what the radical left says about Trump, the ONLY goal is to divide the Republican voters to have them question their decision and hand the power over to them.

THERE IS NO OTHER GOAL IN MIND. Do not be nice about this and do not comply.

They hate you and will do anything that they can to lie and cheat their way into power.

  4. The content of this article really is summed up by that (single) comment.

  5. Today’s article, with the exception of Oh’s quote from a Ted Cruz article content and the preview of Part 2, was a reprint of an article from Illinois Family Action, the political action arm of Illinois Family Institute.

I do plan to use more sources, including today’s article, in Part 2.

  6. The author was summarizing what Lincoln probably wouldn’t approve of. Having gays and trans in the same sentence doesn’t necessarily mean both groups are lumped together.
    ʕಠ_ಠʔ

  7. Excellent post and a cogent summation, Some Guy.

Reality is just to difficult (or unpleasant) for some people such as Rob In The Hood to comprehend.

They would much rather believe in comfortable lies than uncomfortable truths.

They are the useful idiots DEMOCRAT party.

  8. Abe, I got fed up with the lies before I could vote.

I turned off my cable tv over 15 years ago.

What lies have I been fed?

I don’t watch CNN or Fox or any msm news.

I read articles from both sides and watch for the words being used.

I’d really like to see some of the bonkers stuff you feel is real.

Some Guy, I’m not an atheist.

I just don’t think the Judeo religions are correct.

If there is something to them, it’s been obfuscated through time and probably interp5differently.

    Like the term “hate speech.”

these days to cry about people being critical.

I’m kinda getting that from Abe, but it’s ok.

A swift kick to his nuts would just make pity for him.

  9. During Lincoln’s 1860 election, there were actually two Democratic parties.

They had presidential candidates for North and South.
Both lost to the Lincoln Republican party.

It’s not a lot different than the the far-left radical Democrats of today and the RINOs.

Both different arms of the same corrupt body, TRYING TO DIVIDE THE REPUBLIC.

There was also the Constitutional Union Party, who refused to side with either.

They might sound like a few other parties of today

A bunch of do-nothings who are too afraid to make decisions.

Democrats were pro-slavery then and are still pro-slavery today.

The context has simply changed as with “You ain’t black!” creepy Joe Biden.

  10. Rob,

I don’t agree with you on several things but I feel that the comments against you are unreasonable.

You clearly can see that the career politicians are liars and want to divide and deceive us.

Bottom line, however, is that those who associate with neither party are the ones that the Democrats want to grab hold of right now.

To be honest, I think that their more moderate members are leaving and being pushed to the right, as was the case with me.

Politics is way more complex than a left vs right scenario.

  11. If only I knew how to take King George’s gold and give back…

  12. I meant to say Prince John. For some reason George was in my head.

  13. Far from it. I’ve been thinking of game titles coming out this year.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is one I’m contemplating about.

In the third AC game there’s a dlc pack called the “Tyranny of King George” (washington.)

Then I was also thinking about the Rob in hood lore simultaneously.

  14. “Those who refuse to vote for President Trump because they find his tweets and temperament off-putting are small-minded, myopic, self-indulgent traitors to America.“

This sentence was written by an insane person.

  15. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry reading all this.

While the country is getting ready to choose between 2 geriatric basket cases for president, Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc are well on the way to creating this crazy dystopia where we will all live like chickens in their electronic cages.

We’re absolutely having the wrong debates, using the obsolete terminology of the past century which is completely inadequate to address the issues at hand.

I have never heard either Biden or Trump say a word about the threat to jobs posed by artificial intelligence.

Even the hamburgers are gonna be flipped by robots in the near future, so good luck if you’re recent college grad, even that option won’t be open to you.

BTW, if you don’t know… new college grads’ salaries have been going down, their unemployment rate is up.

So while we argue about how wrong abortion is – and it is wrong – many new college grads wish their parents had aborted them.

Really, there is no need to be passionate about Biden or Trump.

We all are gonna have to choose 1 of the 2 candidates, but that’s what it is.

The parties have failed the country.

  16. Good article by Higgins. Victor David Hanson is correct.

Our Nation is doomed if Democrats are in power in DC – President, House, Senate. Besides being extremely incompetent and reckless in their governing, Democrats are actually evil as evidenced by their actions late in the last term of Barak Hussein Obama to spy on and sabotage their political opponent Trump and their ongoing efforts to stymie and thwart the current duly elected President.

  17. Some Guy – “Trump is not a career politician. Biden is. Trump is a nationalist. Biden is a globalist like MOST career politicians today.

Trump is a threat to the globalist traitors who were already in office.”

    This is exactly it.

Trump is the first president in a very long time to pose such a threat.

People don’t care about stupid tweets, he was doing that and got elected anyway.

This is the real reason why you see the hatred for the man.
