McHenry County Board member Suzanne Ness reports having received $15,598.77 for a mailing from the Illinois Democratic Party.
The Democratic Party is, of course, controlled by House Speaker Mike Madigan.
So far, the Northwest Herald has not asked Ness if she is willing to urge Madigan step down from the Speakership in view of the Commonwealth Edison criminal agreement with the U.S. Attorney.
Or whether she will vote for Madigan, if elected to the Illinois House.
Jack Franks would never make a commitment not to vote for Madigan and did so nine times–every time Franks had the chance.

By this you mean that Michael Madigan is the CHAIRMAN of the Democratic Party of Illinois.
He is literally in control of it, not like in some abstract or hyperbolic way.
