UPDATE: Readers Bob Wire and Paul Revere found a column today. I looked at every page in the internet edition and could not find it. Here is the link in which Kass eviscerates the Chicago Tribune Newspaper Guild in which he has declined membership.

It’s Wednesday and after scanning the front page of the Chicago Tribune, I look forward to reading John Kass’ column.
Here’s what I saw when I went to page 2:
Not John Kass, although I am sure what he might have written about Mike Madigan would have been as interesting as whatever this story concerns.
Two days ago media columnist Robert Feder reported that Tribune big wigs had banished Kass from page 2.
He wrote a column in which he pointed out that George Soros money had been poured into State’s Attorney’s campaign across the country to elect people soft on crime.
Co-workers, certainly not colleagues, complained that column promoted an “anti-Semitic conspiracy theory.”
Guess one would have to have known Soros is Jewish.
I looked where other columnists are located, but did not find a column like the one below that he wrote when Madigan dumped hundreds of thousands of dollars into Dee Beaubien’s “Independent” campaign to defeat David McSweeney for State Representative.
Has Kass quit in disgust?
