I’m still curious whether the finance committee will pick the issue up too.
Seeing how Skala (the chairman of the finance committee) did not take sides in the Franks vs Theresi mailer issue like most of the partisan officials did and seeing that it’s already supposed to be on county board’s agenda, it might NOT go to the finance committee despite that being brought up at the law and government meeting.

There is no doubt anymore that Franks supports cancelling the contract with ICE.

Vijuk, Wegener, Franks, and Acosta all support the resolution to cancel the contract.

I haven’t listened to all of the audio, but you made it sound like Yensen is also in favor of the resolution.

So the only Democrat we’re not sure about is Ness.

On the other hand, all of the Republicans who have spoken about this issue or voted have indicated that they oppose cancelling the ICE contract.

How about we start a nice little protest march to deport this man?

Over the last couple of years, reckless and irresponsible Democrats of prominence have called for the abolishment of ICE.

Among them are NY Mayor Deblasio, NY Senator Christin Gilibrand, Senator Elizabeth Warren and NY US Rep AOC Cortez.

There have been some local politicians who have been equally reckless in calling for cancelling of ICE operations in our County.

Patriotic Americans know that ICE and its operations are vital to the security of our Nation and therefore should vote out all Democrats who have asked for the abolishment of ICE and/or have tried to impede its operations.
