Terry Link, the man who was arguably responsible for turning Republican stronghold Lake County into Democratic Party territory, has been caught up in the United States government’s political corruption net.
Long believed to be an undercover agent for the Feds, Link got paper today charging him with income tax evasion.
Just one count.
Ironically, Link was a member of the Senate Ethics Committee until his resignation today.
Another Democratic Party Senator, Thomas Cullerton with being a ghost payroller of a union.
A third, Martin Sandoval, has been accused of corruption in a Red Light Camera protection racket.
Link is still listed as Lake County Democratic Party Chairman:

The feds have been working on a lot of corruption cases since 2016.
The link to a great deal of criminality!
Jackanapes Franks and Link were tucking into sweet northern pike in far north Ontario just a few years ago.
Now Link will be eating crow and Jackanapes will be white rice.
