Emergency Curfew Order
August 26, 2020
Dear community member-
As communicated to our community earlier today, our police department has identified several social media posts which indicate the Village of Antioch may be the target of unknown groups wishing to incite civil unrest, as a result of incidents taking place last night in Kenosha, WI
As your Mayor, I take my responsibilities very seriously, and none more so than keeping our community safe for all. Throughout today’s recent events, I have remained in constant communication with our police department and Village leadership. Through my discussions with the Chief of Police and Village Administration, I have considered all available information in a deliberate and thoughtful manner in order to lead me to making the best decisions for our Village.
In the current situation, based on a thorough evaluation of potential threats of civil unrest in our Village, and the potential for such a situation to create very a tense and potentially volatile environment, I have determined it is in the best interest of our community to issue an Emergency Curfew Order. This will be in effect only as long as necessary, and until this threatening situation no longer poses a threat to Antioch. The implementation of this curfew will assist our police department in allowing them to remain focused on what is most important right now, the protection of our town.
As such, I declare and order that a curfew is hereby imposed on all persons within the Village effective from 8:00pm through 7:00am each day, until further notice. The need for the any continuation of the curfew will be continually evaluated, and I call on our community to understand the need for this measure.

The suspect is from Antioch.
For all the money these Kenoshans pay in taxes every year, it’s pretty freaking sad that they have to arm themselves and defend their own businesses as the Democrats remain completely silent about the rioting and lawlessness.
The answer to some of these idiotic decisions made by these so-called public safety officials in Kenosha can be found in their professional biographies.
Sheriff Beth is an elected official.
Beth was a patrol officer for 7 years.
After that Beth was a DARE officer…till he ran for the position of Sheriff.
A DARE officer works inside a school.
It is usually a full-time appointment and funded by state and federal monies.
A DARE job is viewed as a very cushy, day job, with weekends and holidays off….unlike a street patrol officer that works all shifts, weekends and holidays.
So basically Sheriff Beth is a career cop who has had a cream puff position most of his LE career… till he became the Sheriff.

Law abiding and patriotic Americans can say goodbye to any group, such as sports franchises, who support outlandish demands and groups. People can find better things to do with their lives than watching spoiled and very rich players in baseball, football and basketball opining on tv. A mixed blessing with this China virus thing is that fans of major sports cannot buy tickets and go to games and thus support the salaries of these very rich spoiled sports guys.
People want to watch professional sports on tv to relax, have fun, get away from the rigors of everyday life. People do not want to listen to the political or other thoughts of sports players.
With ticket sales at zero, no concession or parking revenue at venues and maybe diminishing tv ad revenue, will major sports teams wither away? If that happens, then the players can go find real job and do real work rather than playing children’s games.

Perhaps similar to a 2019 Democrat debate wherein he advised parents to turn on the “record players” at night for their children. Or, Joe could get mad at Trump and call him out to a dock to do push ups or a fist fight. Or, Joe could get mad at a woman asking debate questions and call her a “dog faced pony soldier”.
