Underwood’s colleague shows what a real centrist Democrat is like when they openly and courageously believe in country first
This morning, freshman Congressman Max Rose (D, NY-11) released a new TV commercial in his tight race with Republican Nicole Malliotakis.
Rose serves on the House Homeland Security Committee with Congresswoman Lauren Underwood (D, IL-14), and like Underwood, chairs a Homeland Security subcommittee — Intelligence and Counterterrorism.
Rose cosigned the letter with Underwood and House Homeland Security Chairman Bennie Thompson (D, MS-02) demanding the Department of Homeland Security talking points on Antioch, IL resident Kyle Rittenhouse in connection with the Kenosha shootings on August 25.
Here’s the TV commercial he released via social media this morning (Oct 5):
Rose, who turns 34 at the end of next month, is more conservative than 93% of all Democrats in the House, and since Underwood still ranks at #16 most liberal, Underwood’s and Rose’s voting records are not comparable. Rose’s and Underwood’s metrics are from UCLA Voteview.
Put another way, Rose has a voting record to back up this ad, and here’s an example which came up in his commercial from early January of this year.
Rose reminds all of the January killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani. Going down memory lane, remember Underwood’s reaction to the Soleimani killing by U.S. forces?
“My responsibility as a Member of Congress is to ensure the safety and security of Americans at home and abroad
“The military actions of this week represent an unprecedented escalation of tensions with Iran that increases the dangers of war in the Middle East, posing grave risks to Americans and to our allies in the region.
“The Administration must provide additional information to Congress to explain the intelligence that justifies these actions and its plan to keep America safe in their wake.
“We have hundreds of our neighbors serving America’s interests in the Middle East right now; above all, I am praying for their safety.”

In addition to Underwood’s weak response, Underwood voted for the resolution to stop using military force against Iran in the wake of the killing of Soleimani on January 9. Rose voted against the resolution.
And as Rose took New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio to task on defunding the police, can one see Underwood doing the same with Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot on any issue?
Didn’t think so.
DEMOCRATS have proven time and time again through their lies and deceitful conduct
that they are not to be trusted so why would any sane person vote for Rose or any other DEMOCRAT ?
If Rose had an iota of integrity he would disavow the DEMOCRAT party for what it has become.
Sleep with the dogs, get up with their fleas, Mr. Rose.
What an incredible dope is this lady for criticizing the action of the US to take out Soleimani.
She should not be a US Representative.
Nor in any elective office anywhere in the US.
Max Rose is a fraud.
Well, Underwood wasn’t so offbase with criticizing the killing of Soleimani.
When some American general gets killed, everybody will be hopping mad.
But who started the assassination game?
It’s called Karma, bred.

Don’t worry, I’ll never vote for soiled Underpants.
But I won’t attack her on of the very few things she’s right about, but almost certainly for the wrong rationale.
Ah yes the one who idolizes criminals…

Well, that’s a great sentiment.
But how do we marry that with the radical Leftist voting record of Underwood?
How do we consider that while giving Lunatic Pelosi the gavel for another two years?
Truth is, it’s a political stunt.
It means that Underwood realizes that, with an election at hand, she needs to pander to those who still love this country if she wants to go back to Congress for another term of race bating, anti-American efforts to undermine the constitution.
