Republicans Respond to Lying Jack Franks’ Robo-Call Implying Republican Party Support

From the McHenry County Republican Party:

Republicans denounce Franks robocall giving false impression of Republican Party support

With the election only weeks away, the McHenry County Republican Party has received phone calls, texts and emails complaining about carefully worded robocalls they’ve received from the Jack Franks campaign giving the false impression that he has the support of the Republican Party.

He is running against businessman Mike Buehler, the only candidate endorsed by the McHenry County Republican Party, for McHenry County Board Chairman.

Franks is already under fire for a heavy-handed practice where his robocalls inform residents of the county that his campaign is placing a yard sign on their lawn and that, if they don’t want it, they have to call and opt out.

“Whoever put this together, this is the way Jack Franks operates,” said Tyler Wilke, the Chairman of the McHenry County Republican Party.

“It’s underhanded and overbearing.

“And, unfortunately, it’s symptomatic of how he conducts business as chairman of the board, as well.”

Franks is currently under investigation for sexual abuse, sexual assault, stalking and other related charges based on accusations made against him by a woman from when Franks was in Springfield representing the 63rd Illinois House District.

It’s also been pointed out that, while House Speaker Michael Madigan, an ally of Franks, is under investigation for taking bribes from ComEd to support legislation the utility giant considers favorable, Franks’ financial campaign reports show that he has also received contributions from ComEd and the company’s former CEO, Anne Pramaggiore.

Here in McHenry, Franks was recently censured by the McHenry County Board for his roughshod approach to the budgetary process and rules concerning committees.

He has also been the subject of complaints about ‘bullying’ behavior as the Chairman.

Regional Superintendent of Education in the county, Leslie Schermerhorn, spoke at a County Board Meeting earlier this year that Franks’ behavior was so bad she refused to meet with him anymore unless there was a third-party present.

“There are Democrats who support Mike Buehler,” said Wilke, “certainly more with the investigation into Franks for sexual assault.

“We would never try to give that kind of false impression, even if we carefully word the way we say it.

“It’s just a flat-out lie that the McHenry County Republican Party, in any way, supports Jack.

“We have a fantastic candidate with Mike Buehler.

‘We don’t need to lie to the voters.

‘People should ask themselves why Jack’s supporters think they need to lie to win.

‘Maybe they know something we should all know – that some of us have figured out.”

It will be interesting to see if the Northwest Herald considers this deceptive practice newsworthy.

  1. Jack exhibits this behavior every election cycle that he participates in with just slight variations.

He reminds me of the classic school house bully who always ran to his teacher accusing others of doing what he actually was doing behind the scenes.

He thrived on getting attention and constantly sought the recognition of his peers at any cost.

Just a spoiled brat with a hatred of anyone who did not allow him to get his way.

He is and was an annoying spoiled brat that never grew up.

  2. Actually Cole G. Is the illegitimate son of old King Cole. He’s known as the Knave or Bastard brat.

He’s got his own reserved stool (with an engraved name plate) at the Cottage in CL.

And he wears depens when he plays the rigged slots there on Friday nights.

Probably there right now, cursing up a storm.

The Depens are worn not for any urological problem, but so he doesn’t leave his place to go to the washroom.

  3. Johnny Meister Burger Burger Meister, the correct name is Depend® not Depend. You should know that because you are wearing Depend® right now. P U you stink boy!

  4. Cole has posted a nonsensical comment that has nothing to do with the original blog article – a Troll without a Cause?

  5. Still trying to deceive people, Franks?

What an embarrassment you are to your family and this county..

As far as the investigation of those criminal sexual assault allegations, I heard your wife doesn’t believe your denial of any wrong doing and is divorcing your sleazy ass

  6. “Cole Gioberti” = Jack Franks’ Next Patronage Hire??
