According to McHenry County Clerk Joe Tirio, these are the votes cast through the weekend:
Vote By Mail: 36,735
Compare these figures with those during the entire 2016 fall election:
An astute Friend of McHenry County Blog observes:
That would put current turnout at 30.02 % compared to the final turnout of 66.58 % in 2016.
One could conclude that half the voters who are going to vote have done so with 10 more days to go.
Keep in mind that the 30.02 % is a deflated number.
Turnout to date is probably higher due to the inflated number of registered voters.
