In McHenry County about 27% of the vote has been tallied–all from those who cast ballots today.

The results follow:

Allen Skillicorn has 1,920 votes more than Suzanne Ness in McHenry County.

Turning to the Kane County portion of the district with 23 of 25 precincts reporting (but having no idea if that represents all of the votes cast) , Ness leads by 1,335 votes.

This is going to be a much closer race than I imagined, given Skillicorn’s virtual lack of a campaign.
