Ugaste: Resign, Madigan

From State Rep. Dan Ugaste:

Ugaste Urges Democrats to Join Call for Madigan’s Resignation

GENEVA—With news breaking last night of the US Attorney’s Office indicting allies of House Speaker Mike Madigan, State Representative Dan Ugaste (R-Geneva) released the following statement:

Dan Ugaste

“It is clear that if we are ever going to restore the people’s trust in state government, we must have new leadership in Springfield.

“The people of Illinois deserve better.

“The culture of corruption has weakened our statehouse.

“Whether this is more proof of Mike Madigan’s involvement or not, he has led the House and State Government for years – thus, allowing such a culture to exist.

“We need change.

“I am calling on my colleagues from across the aisle to join the House Republicans in our demand for Speaker Madigan’s resignation.”

Ugaste: Resign, Madigan — 4 Comments

  1. Madigan & his goons have been destroying HELL-inois for decades.

Time to send some Demo state reps & senators letters to get mafia boss Madigan OUT !

  2. Madigan does not fear Ugaste, he laughs at him because he has no power whatsoever.

It’s all meaningless bluster and talk, no real action to fear.

  3. Ugaste is OK.

He’s one of the good state reps unlike Reick or Weber or Althoff or Salvi-Wheeler.
