MARIA R. MAREK JOINS THE CRIMINAL DIVISION OF THE
MCHENRY COUNTY STATE’S ATTORNEY’S OFFICE

Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, is pleased to announce that Maria R. Marek joined our office on November 30, 2020, as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Criminal Division.

Maria was most recently employed by Winston & Strawn LLP in Chicago as a Litigation Associate where she represented clients on asylum matters to escape persecution from their home countries.

She received her Juris Doctor from the DePaul University College of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Italian from Goergetown University.
