Heading into her 2nd term, Congresswoman Lauren Underwood seeking district residents to serve on her congressional advisory councils:

  • Healthcare

  • Youth

Rep. Underwood’s Advisory Council Application

Congresswoman Lauren Underwood (IL-14) invites constituents of the 14th District of Illinois to apply to serve on her advisory councils.

Applications are due by Sunday, January 31st.

The Councils will meet quarterly to provide the Congresswoman and her staff with feedback on issues of concern to the IL-14, as well as Illinois and federal legislation. Advisory Council members may be asked to develop recommendations or reports.

This position is voluntary, and applicants must meet the following requirements.

  • Must reside in the 14th district of Illinois
  • Must be willing to serve a full term ending in December 2022
  • Must be able to attend meetings (transportation is not provided). Meeting dates will be set but may change last minute according to the Congressional calendar
  • Must be willing to engage colleagues and community members regarding the work of the council and congressional office

  3. I reached out to her office to straighten out a Social Security snafu….. ordinary constituent help….

    her office is no help at all and her aide tried to find out if I supported Pritzker and Trump at the intake interview.
