Congressman Adam Kinzinger is doing his best to identify himself as the anti-Trump Republican in Illinois.
His rather obvious goal is to raise his name identification high enough to run for Governor against JB Pritzker or U.S. Senator against incumbent Democrat Tammy Duckworth.
Am the only one who remembers how Kinzinger kissed up to President Trump when he unsuccessfully sought to be appointed Secretary of Defense?
Running as an anti Trump candidate seems like the best way to ensure that you lose the republican primary if you ask me.

In 2003, Adam joined the US Air Force, and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in November 2003; he earned his pilot wings in 2005.
In 2007, he received the US Air Force Airman’s Medal for saving the life of a young woman who was viciously attacked.
Despite the likelihood that he too would be stabbed, Adam wrestled the knife away from the attacker and pinned him to the ground until the police arrived.
Capt Kinzinger’s Combat tours in Afghanistan were from March to April 2006, and September 2007; combat tours in Iraq were March–April 2007, March-June 2008, and February–May 2009.
Capt Kinzinger’s was awarded 6 Air Medals for 120 Combat Missions.
He was also awarded the Airman’s Medal for Heroism, Valley Forge Cross for Heroism, Aerial Achievement Medal, Global War on Terrorism and Expeditionary Medal, and numerous service and campaign medals.
