Aspirants to Replace Chuck Wheeler on the McHenry County Board – Jeffrey Schaefer

McHenry Alderman Jeffrey Schaefer is the eight candidate to be presented to readers of McHenry County Blog.

It is the job of McHenry County Board Chairman Mike Buehler to appointed a replacement for Chuck Wheeler.

For the appointment to take effect, the County Board members need to vote their approval.

  1. Immediate feedback, Alderman Schaefer did file for reelection in the 3rd Ward election and his opponent is former Democrat Party Chair Frank McClatchey.

    So, if Schaefer is appointed to County Board, will he stay on the April 6 ballot in order to prevent McClatchey from winning a term on the City Council?

    Wonder if that will factor into Mike Buehler’s decision.
