Neil Adams New Assistant State’s Attorney

NEIL J. ADAMS JOINS THE CRIMINAL DIVISION OF THE MCHENRY COUNTY STATE’S ATTORNEY’S OFFICE

Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, is pleased to announce that Neil J. Adams joined our office today as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Criminal Division.

Most recently, Neil was in private practice in Joliet for twelve years, specializing in complex felony cases including extensive appellate practice before the Third District Appellate Court and the Illinois Supreme Court.

Adams has 27 years of experience including four years as the felony division supervisor at the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office.

Over his career, he has tried many high profile, complicated and serious cases, serving as lead or sole counsel on numerous murder trials.

Neil received his Juris Doctor in 1993 and his B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, from Northern Illinois University.
