Franks Returns $400,000 of 2009 Campaign Cash to Relatives

In 2009, State Rep. Jack Franks wanted to become Governor.

Jack Franks at the Rod Blagojevich impeachment hearing.

To get “mentioned,” his family poured in hundreds of thousands of dollars.

$1.2 million of the $1.3 million or 90% of the money Franks is using to gain a place on the statewide ticket comes from just six contributors. All but one are relatives, I have been told.

What his father conributed was returned earlier.

On December 31, 2020, Franks wrote checks to the following:

  • $200,000 to Deborah Franks
  • $200,000 to Eileen Franks

His wife Deborah Franks filed for divorce August 17, 2020.

  1. This is why he didn’t spend more money on his last Chairman’s race.

He was given that money just to scare off potential opponents and wasn’t allowed to spend it on himself.

When the investigation into his sexual predation was revealed, he could no longer raise the cash from his state sources so he had to make do with about $50K.

  2. Cal, is there a record of their donations to his campaign or could this be a family reunion picnic surprise party?

  3. Boo Hoo, Jack Franks is D-O-N-E !!!

Now he can continue his stalking in peace in FL or NYC or Tel Aviv.
