Valley Hi vaccine update

Today is a HUGE milestone for us. 

Most of our family has two doses of the vaccine in them at this point and we grew our numbers today with many staff getting their first dose. 

This brings us significantly closer to the end.

Here is where we stand with the vaccine:

• 45 residents received their second vaccine dose today
• 9 residents received their first dose of the vaccine today
• 3 residents refused the vaccine
• 80 staff received their second vaccine dose today
• 30 staff received their first dose of the vaccine today

I have some news to pass on as well. 

For those staff and residents who did not participate in the first or second round, it is not too late to get the vaccine starting with round 3 on 2-18-2021.

It has been a tremendously long war – but today marks the first step toward winning and moving forward. 

Everyone has been amazing and patient while keeping the mood in the building a positive one all the way through. 

I can easily say though, there was clearly a little extra bounce in everyone’s step today.

Valley Hi family and superheroes, hang in there, we are almost there.
