McHenry County Clerk Joe Tirio has published the names of those running for office in April.
Some positions have no candidates, which means people could run write-in candidacies.
Before bothering to convince people to cast a write-in ballot, however, candidates must file a Declaration of Candidacy in the County Clerk’s Office
