Corruption Bipartisan

From Jim Dey of the Champaign News-Gazette in his column “Criminal element well represented in Illinois Senate – Champaign News-Gazette*;

“For those keeping score, four current or recent members of the Illinois Senate have pleaded guilty to corruption charges or are facing trial.

“Last week’s federal indictment of former state Sen. Sam McCann demonstrates again that when it comes to allegedly pursuing self-interest, Illinois’ rough-and-tumble politics is more bipartisan than some might think.”

  1. Sam was really a loose cannon who had a Trumplike following.

    He was white and a populist and ProLife and pro second amendment.

    Just another double standard prosecution.

  2. You misspelled bipartisan, Cal.

    Does anybody know who the four senators are?

  3. **Does anybody know who the four senators are?**

    It is in the 3rd paragraph of the linked article:

    The 51-year-old McCann, who was first elected as a Republican, was charged last week with income-tax evasion, wire fraud and money laundering.

    He joins Democrats Thomas Cullerton, Martin Sandoval and Terry Link in the Senate’s rogue gallery of not-so-selfless public servants.

  4. Alabama, is it so you won quite a few drag show contests in Chitown and Milwaukee?

    Is that really something to brag about?
