Community Development Housing Grant Commission

The McHenry County Board is accepting applications from individuals interested in appointment to the McHENRY COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT HOUSING GRANT COMMISSION (CDHG).  The following appointments will be available:

 Two at large members with a term to begin December 15, 2020 and expiring on December 15, 2023.

 All applicants shall be residents and/or employed within McHenry County, Illinois.  Applications are encouraged from individuals residing and/or employed within County Board District 1, 5 or 6. Applicants are also encouraged from individuals representing township supervisors, township road commissioners, municipalities, realty association, the banking industry, and construction trades.

The McHenry County Board is accepting applications from individuals interested in appointment to the Board of Trustees of the Crystal Lake Rural Fire Protection District.  Two trustee’s positions: (1) one trustee position for the remaining term of May 2022, and (2) one trustee position term from May 2021 to May 2024.  The term is for three years. The Board of Trustees of the Fox River Grove Fire Protection District hereby announces there will be one opening on the Board of Trustees commencing May 3, 2021 and ending April 30, 2024. The McHenry County Board is accepting applications from individuals interested in appointment to the McHENRY COUNTY HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION. Four positions are available for appointment as follows:  Two positions with a term to expire November 26, 2025;  One position with a term to expire November 26, 2021; One positions with a term to expire November 26, 2024. 

Attorneys, architects, engineers, real estate professionals with knowledge of historic preservation, and individuals with a demonstrated interest in pre-history, history or architecture are encouraged to apply.
