Pop-Up Route 14 Re-Sale Shop Saturdays in Cary

From the organizers:

Donald L. Schoonmaker Scholarship Fund Charity Sale (non-profit 501c3)- Saturdays

Recently, the DLSSF has expanded to an exciting new project in Tanzania where we will be partnering with Francis Maria Libermann School of the Catholic Diocese of Zanzibar to support the education of young girls in the community.

In Zanzibar, many young girls lack access to quality education and we are hoping to help alleviate this by providing for the funding necessary to educate two young girls.

It is our hope that this is the beginning of a long-term partnership with the community.

In support of this new project, the DLSSF will host a charity sale every Saturday from 10AM to 4 PM at 3202 Northwest Hwy, Suite J, Cary, IL 60013 with all proceeds going to support the DLSSF’s efforts in Zanzibar and other DLSSF Scholarships.

The shop is in the back of the strip mall.

The sale will started on February 6 and will continue on for a total of 16 weeks. (Feb 13, 20, 27, March 6, 13, 20, 27, April 3, 10, 17, 24, and May 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29).

Our facility has a great deal of items available to meet your needs including clothes (suites, sweaters and shoes, furniture (desks, cabinets and trunks) and other home goods (electronics, silverware).

There is a piano available (free).

Donations are also accepted as long as they are not too large.

As our goal is to move everything out of this location while supporting the young students in Zanzibar, prices will be comparable to local resale shops.

In addition to the above mentioned items, Jamlady.com products including: preserves, salsa, mustards, pickles, relishes, and other favorites will also be available at this location during the charity sale with a portion of proceeds going directly to the DLSSF.

While Jamlady Bev Alfeld anticipates being at the summer farmers markets again this year starting in June, don’t miss this opportunity to purchase in-person now while also supporting a great cause!

If you would like a private showing of the goods available, please contact Jamlady Bev at Jamlady10@gmail.com.

For any additional information, please contact Bev or Kelly at 815-276-5872.

  1. Forget it.

What goes on in Zanzibar, a moslem cesspool where I saw black slaves being sold in 1980, is of zero interest to me.

  2. What’s the difference between Tanzania and America?

One country is very worried about COVID and the other one is not.

One country called out the international health community for having unreliable tests that showed positives on pieces of fruit, the other country accepts everything they are told.

The country that mocks COVID and the reaction to it is Tanzania.

The country that larps about “freedom” while shutting down churches is America.

Guess why there is more slavery now than there was in 1981?

Do you think it’s because of America and the CIA or because of Tanzania?

  3. Correcting shows he knows little about Tanzania.

Zanzibar and Pemba were always moslem places where blacks were second class citizens.

    Still are.

But mainland Tanzania is a rats’ nest too.

Let’s focus on the US and let these third world rat holes go it alone.

  4. Yeah, you should focus on your country, Kangaroo.

It sounds like Tanzania doesn’t bow down to international pressure of everything and anything told to them about COVID like the U.S. does.

Now who was primarily responsible for the coup in Libya?

Was that the U.S. or Tanzania?

Why is there so much terrorism in the world?

Do you think the U.S. or Tanzania plays a bigger role?

You’re just attacking Tanzania because you are thoroughly disgusted and embarrassed about your own country’s terrible policies which you will not defend.

  5. Correcting brings up Libya. The US had a friendly dictator there and Barak Hussein Obama and Hillary Clinton decided to bring him down in an illegal war. Then, ISIS took over. Democrats love war. Barak Hussein Obama stated at the start of his regime that Afghanistan was “The War of Necessity”.

  6. I know who was president when Gadaffi was taken out.

I’m not talking about Democrats or Republicans.

I’m talking about your country has a history of bad foreign policy.

Why did George W Bush go to war in Iraq? (By the way, the GOP was *more* supportive of that unnecessary war than the Democrats were.)

Your country has a DEEP STATE problem that extends beyond Democratic or Republican administration.

Get out of here with your baby level Fox News crap bred winner.

When you start calling out neocons and other scum in the GOP I’ll take you seriously.

You still worship Ronald Reagan who helped the formation of Al Qaeda via arming and funding the mujahideen.

Technically, Carter started it in 79, but Reagan kept it going throughout his two terms and drastically increased the funding.

Fast and Furious policy sending guns over to Mexico took place under the administrations of Obama and Bush.

Gaddafi was taken out because because he was trying to start a pan-African currency backed by gold and nationalize oil.

He was no longer useful to U.S. financial interests and therefore not considered friendly.

It wasn’t just the “Democrats” who wanted to take him out, and some of the biggest cheerleaders for war in Syria and war in Iran are Republicans too.

Also, if it was an illegal war (which I think it probably was), which Republicans were trying to censure or impeach Obama over that?

Who was speaking out other than maybe Ron Paul or Walter Jones who were OUTCASTS in the GOP?

Or did Republicans believe it was an illegal war, but they were more worried about being called r-r-r-r-r-r-acist than upholding the Constitution?

Is that the brave party that will lead my country to be great? LOL

The majority of Republicans supported the intervention in Libya and did NOTHING to stop it. Republicans and Democrats failed. They continue to fail.

The country is led by dumb and evil people and that is probably why the poverty rate is increasing and life expectancy is going down, the opposite of Tanzania where poverty is decreasing and life expectancy is going up.
