Kyle Rittenhouse: New Civil Attorney Robert Barnes Speaks about Last Thursday’s Hearing

“Gaslighting” and other issues with Kenosha County District Attorney’s staff discussed quite frankly

About two weeks ago, the Kyle Rittenhouse Legal Defense Fund announced it had terminated its relationship with Los Angeles-based attorney John M. Pierce.

The Legal Defense Fund announced that same week Robert Barnes, who’s also based in Los Angeles, has replaced Pierce as Rittenhouse’s civil/public relations attorney. Racine’s Mark D. Richards currently leads the criminal defense for Rittenhouse, and is the attorney-of-record.

Last night, as part of a two hour podcast, Barnes gave a detailed account of his legal observations concerning the Rittenhouse case in general, and Kenosha County prosecutors in particular.

The nearly 15 minute segment is cued and provides much insight.

From the Viva Frei Podcast 2/14/21

I was at the Kenosha County Courthouse on January 27 and can attest, the windows are still boarded up there, and on many buildings in the downtown Kenosha area.

The next scheduled court appearance for Rittenhouse is on March 10, for what could/should be a final, pre-trial hearing prior to the beginning of jury selections currently scheduled for March 29.

Given the outcome of the March 10 pre-trial hearing, the jury selection date could be pushed back.

  1. Rumor has it, due to all the prejudging up there, Kenosha hs been cancelled.

  2. In The NO, while we know Kenosha is not going to be “cancelled”, there is some truth to what you say due to all the “prejudging” that has taken place in Kenosha concerning Kyle Rittenhouse, much brought up during the Barnes Law segment.

The March 10 pre-trial, and a couple of days prior, may see some defense motions filed on what is admissible evidence, based on discovery the prosecution turned over to the defense in January.

While it’s likely a long shot, requesting a change of venue could happen, or simply set a pretrial rule that only the events directly involved with the shootings, are admissible.

Obviously the defense will present what only makes their client look good, and doubt Rittenhouse will be taking the stand in his own defense.

We’ll know in the next 3 1/2 weeks.

“Gaslighting is a form of emotional abuse that’s seen in abusive relationships. It’s the act of manipulating a person by forcing them to question their thoughts, memories, and the events occurring around them. A victim of gaslighting can be pushed so far that they question their own sanity”

In other words, the Prosecutor is Head F….cking the public as a way of garnering support for his false arguments against Rittenhouse.

Prime example, in recent media, is Nancy Pelosi and her attempts to discredit Trump with invalid and false arguments to have him impeached.

  4. Kyle Rittenhouse exemplifies the very spirit that gave birth to our Republic.

If we, as Americans, do not embrace and adopt this very spirit in droves, and SOON, our complacency/idleness will most assuredly help to secure the demise of everything our founders sacrificed their lives, fortunes and sacred honor, to give us…

“If you do not, I shall repent in Heaven, that I ever took half the Pains to preserve it.”

  6. The prosecuter must be friends with one of the deceased parents or is getting paid!

    Poor Kyle.

    I’m praying for him.
