Election Night – Township Results

The polls have closed in Algonquin, Grafton and Nunda Townships, but, and the first results have been posted.

Randy Funk is off to an early lead for Algonquin Township Supervisor:

Danijela Sandberg is also ahead:

In votes reported in the Grafton Township Assessor’s race, Terra DeBaltz is wiping out incumbent Allen Zielinski:

In Nunda Township incumbent Mike Lesperance is ahead of challenger Eric Dowd:

In the contest to control the Nunda Township Board what I’ll call the Parish slate is ahead:

Note that none of the results show any precincts reporting, so maybe these numbers reflect absentee and early voting.

    But the township problem won’t go away.

    And then everybody will be calling for De Baltz’s scraggly head in the years to come.

  3. I voted for Dowd despite all the vote buying by Ironman on my non dedicated road.

    When you fleece some taxpayers to build a patronage army, it’s just a vote buying scheme.

    Plus the votes are rigged anyway.

    I know nothing about him but would vote for anybody else due to that reason alone.
